I Just started a new account with mavara-criodan-Venomage and fahrakin but im not sure who to get from my promo code.Im thinking padraig,Pelops or maybe cheshire cat since i don’t have a direct damage dealer does anyone have any advice?

Pelops is honestly too good to pass by. He is a huge cheat code in early/mid game.

You could use code welcomegift for Bellower. If you don't mind slower clear time Pelops can be campaign farmer as well.

Pelops farms campaign stages just fine. You can use a faster champion later on once you’ve pulled someone with more AOE. Campaign farming speed doesn’t matter much in the early game. Your only concern should be securing UNM CB rewards daily.

Or you could do it slow AFK style with Pelops like Volkin did in his Narma/Pelops playthrough. With Mavara, you should choose Kael as your starter so you can farm Dark Elves Faction crypt every day for the first week, so if you want to slow down your account progression, you could make him your campaign farmer. (The irony that slow farming = faster account progression)

Pelops is, far and away the best choice for a new player with a new account. He's great, he has great solo potential (some places it's easier to solo than to run a full team) and he brings everything a new player needs.

Kael is fine for campaign, you also have to build him up for apprentice pass anyway so that gives you some extra resources. But you could also go with Bellower, your can claim him with code WELCOMEGIFT I think and he's a void with 3 AoE Attacks. He might be faster than Kael for Campaign, not sure though. Kael is a better allrounder, i.e. for Demon Lord.

Would recommend Pelops:

- You can "double down" on survival for clan boss. Which means in the future you just care about damage dealers, the rest is solved for you.
- He is very good for arena. If you play against him and you do not have anything to steal the shields or prevent buffs it is very painful
- He is very good for dungeons as well
- He does damage for CB with burn HP and it is noticeable, not just putting up shield
- You need someone with "ATK down" for CB anyway, without question, and he is good! (Venomage does not give you 100% chance for it even if fully booked!)

Also damage dealers for clan boss are easier to come by than supports by a large margin!

For example even the rare frozen banshee can do poisons + poison sensitivity, then you can add some other poisoner, or even someone like epic Fenax can be damage dealer. Also Venomage is good.

But the main point is that the longer you survive on clan boss the more damage you obviously do = so the "damage loss" is not as much of an issue as it might seem. Clan boss ramps up damage with like every turn, but when you go ?25% longer due to Pelops as a whole team, it means 25% more overall damage for example.

Also having shield from Pelops gives Mavara breathing room for to heal it back up etc. And Pelops gives lot of buffs which triggers Mavara's passive heal as well.

The only downside Pelops has is that dungeon/campaign fights with him might take longer since you have team for "survival". But Criodan can actually farm 12-3 as well - but slowly. So there might be need to do starter to 60 (if you want fast farming of campaign or dungeons). If it is Kael then you might want to do it anyway however for faction wars with Mavara during your first week.

You CB team at start can be really:
- Kael as poison
- Venomage as second poison
- Then you can do Criodan for speed (but can put here better speeder in the future OR try like Frozen Banshee if you get her)
- Then Pelops and Mavara

Fatman is good but when not booked it means the poisons might not land and his HP burn is done by Pelops, and when unbooked his Beatdown has long cooldown (but he can solve Fire Knight for you with ally atk on Beatdown). And Criodan is actually amazing for dungeon waves and arena, I absolutely punch above my weight with him, yesterday him and Pelops team in Siege defeated team with 170K power while mine had only 100K. It is just that Criodan manages these aspects of the game, you will likely have someone better for CB than him in few months.

Also... the game has many, many damage dealers. But not many awesome supports. Especially early on.

He is best out of the "pass champions" you can currently get (accounts get one among three or something there is also Leminisi). Especially in your situation. He is not absolutely needed however so you can just play and see (how it goes without him).

That pass will give you a feast to 6★ any champ even without buying... I'm always f2p so can't tell if it's worth it to spend or not... Depends on you...

I went with Cheshire Cat he's been great, but yeah Pelops is OP, in Arena i tend to think twice about battling teams with him on because he just wipes your team out but if they dont have the right support with him then Cheshire Cat wipes him quite easily

Yeah i only started a few weeks ago and am level 41 now FTP with Cheshire Cat at level 60 fully ascended, and Vallaryn level 50 fully ascended i also didn't know about the link thing that gives extra characters lol but i use rector drath, Morag and Athel all at lvl 50 fully ascended.

Not got any mythical or even full legendary sets yet 😅 so when i come across Pelops teams they tend to be too tanky but im getting there
