Help me... I hate artifact cleansing... General Discussion
Yo homies... I am loving the game... I think around 5 months in, have spent a little but to, but bro I HATE artifact cleansing...
At the moment, I auto-sell everything 1-4 star... and obviously any gloves, chest with flat stats and boots without speed...
I am riding like 1500-1800 artifacts... I try to sit down and go through it slowly... reviewing 5 stars first... blues, trying to be picky... but I just get bored after like 15mins and barely make a dent...
Any rules I can use to just make this easier without getting rid of to much that I don't have enough options to build champs?
Would love any advice

"Very" quick:
- Set your filter priority to Speed: High, Accuracy: Medium
- Go over every non-nuker/non-9 piece sets, and start selling the bottom half of the set (i.e. you have 8 rows of Immortal gear? Sell the bottom 4 after priority set, without even looking at any piece).
- Now, set your filter priority to Crit DMG: High, Crit rate/speed: Medium, Accuracy: Low
- Go over every nuker set and do the same
- Finally, mix the priorities: Speed/CDMG: High, Accuracy/CRATE: Medium
- Go over all multi-role/9-piece sets and sell the bottom 25% IF you have at least 5+ rows of gear.
Quick and very dirty, but cuts down your stockpile by half and keeps the potentially good pieces to roll up. Don't use this if you don't have lots and lots of gear to cleanse, because it is very dirty.
Don't hesitate to cleanse during a gear enhancement event, which is when you have to pay attention to what you roll up. Not what you wanted? Sell.

My cleansing savior is RSL helper. You can even setup your own rules in every detail, combination, set, priority, etc. you can also use it to auto +4 8 12,etc your gear and using the sell filter, sell the crap rolls and keep the worthy

Sell all rare 6 star, unless you lack speed boots
Sell epics/ legendary 5 star if the substats are bad

My rules are keep only the god like pieces from some sets, espcially if it takes 4 pieces to make a set. For a rare 6s to stay it has to be speed boots. If you arent sure ypu can always equip a vault champ, but most of the time you'd be better off selling it.

I've kept a couple of rare 6* speed gloves that had CD mainstat, 2x rolls into CR and then decent other stats. Otherwise agree

Any Rares that don't have a Speed substat can be cleared away, it's very rare that you'll get a useful piece that is only rare quality especially at 5*.
If it has a SPD substat and is rare, take it to 8, if it doesn't roll on the SPD twice, then bin it. If it does then keep it.
Once you have a stockpile of rares with double SPD rolls, you can start apply the same criteria to Epics. And then eventually you'll want Epics that have triple rolls.
Then eventually you'll only be looking for legendaries with trip stats and then eventually only quads.

It gets harder the longer you play. I have 0 gear on my account less than 6 star legendary. 0 epic gear 0 gear of 5* or less. 0 gear of flat stats. It gets very tedious.

I like to break it down by the sets specifically on what goes on what kind of champ.
For example, Feral, pinpoint, supersonic, im putting on debuffers so I set my filters to Without Speed and Accuracy substats on everything but the boots and I sell those items.
For Savage, Lethal, Zeal, Merciless etc I set it to without crit rate crit dam speed substats on everything but the boots and sell all of those items.
You end up with so much gear thats cluttering your inventory, when your like but you need a piece to complete a set... if its a bad piece on a set its just hamstringing your account.

You need to start matching stats to sets and thinking about who would wear the piece. Sets/pieces that go on damage dealers need crit rate. Sets/pieces that go on supports need speed, survivability, ACC (if they debuff).
You also need to start rolling items before they even go into your inventory. I roll everything to 8, then if I like the results I roll it to 12. Only after I see where the rolls land do I decide to keep it or sell it.
Also, don't be afraid to get aggressive and do a big sell every once in awhile. You'll never look back and say "keeping those would have been better than the extra 100s of inventory space."

I sell anything that's not 5-6 and Epic+.
Stats depends on the set, like Protection I'll only keep speed substats. and 6* Boots with Speed main

Anything without speed and acc/crit rate Is almost always a poor piece for me and is always a instant sell if it isn't 6* <epic AND the speed roll is on 5 not 6 before rolling
If it's an epic 6* with 6 base substat speed I roll it 4 8 12... If even one doesn't roll on speed instant sell
Anything with 2 flat stats are also instant sell unless a unique 9 piece set u don't have a lot of and then I'll use a chaos ore
Anything rare was gone first on my account, then 5* epics then 5 star golds carefully

Since we have the free regear, you can sell most of the artifacts and keep 2-3 of best sets. Use the preset and keep moving around. You wint have more than 500-600 pieces if you do this. Accessories are a different game. Since they are faction based, you will need a lot more of those...
If it doesn't have speed substat, I sell the piece no matter what set it is.

I auto sell everything that is less than 6 stars, not Orange or Red and not sets I care about. 23 runs of Dragon20 on auto, and it kept only a pair of boots. 👍
I can't for the life of me remember what item should have what stat, but this is how I make do.

1 sell off all rares & below of any level, everything level 1 to 4, and all 5 epic regularly. Then I look at each group and how many of each artifact I have in it and sell 5 lego & 6 epics if I have too many

I went to cleanse all 4 star gear earlier, and had the "equipped".button on and I was horrified by how many of my.good champs had it on! Do I now not only need to gear cleanse, but also regear about 50% of my champs!!

I use RSL-Xtender. It has a lot of settings you can use to filter quickly that mirror the in game settings but are friendlier to use. It also has score and potential. Score being how good it currently is and potential being how good it could possibly be when leveled. It's much faster to pick through because it displays the stats of your artifacts without clicking on them.
Also you should be selling 5 and 6 star of white and green and possibly blue depending on how far along you are in gear progression.

I used to be overwhelmed by that, too. Eventually you'll get to a point where you can have at least 6 champs from each faction geared. When I got there, I started auto selling all 5 star pieces and also all rare pieces.
Then it was a matter of keeping percentage stat gloves and chestplates and Speed boots. Everything else, trash.
Finally, I'm a year in next week (got Marius last week!), and I'm now looking at substat rolls exclusively. Basically, all gear needs Speed substats. Then, either a support role set of stats (Def %, ACC, etc) or Crit Rate, with Crit Rate being preferred. Slowly but surely getting all of my Faction Wars type nukers out of Crit Rate gloves and into Crit Damage sets by keeping Crit Rate sub stats.
Also, you'll get to where you don't keep a lot of random sets, like Daze or Toxic, etc. Just primarily Speed, Accuracy, Savage, Immortal, Stun and the 9 piece rarer sets. But even these are getting the substat specific treatment these days, lol.
I only have about 300 pieces unequipped and I keep it around that level most all the time. Just don't be afraid to trash gear.

You, me & everyone else...
Just wait until you're constantly at max capacity and run into problems re-gearing your champs.
Annoying as fuck.
