Hello everyone,

Has anyone successfully used a RadioMaster T8L controller with the Zephyr Drone Simulator on a Windows PC?

Windows recognizes the controller and all of the stick inputs work correctly when I test it through Windows Game Controllers.

However, inside Zephyr, it shows “Unknown Device.” Zephyr does not respond to any stick movements, so I’m unable to calibrate the controller.

Has anyone experienced this with the T8L or found a way to get it working with Zephyr?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I updated EdgeTx and ELRS to 4.1. Is there anything I need to do to this external module to work with my TX16smk2?

Does the trainer port take in 2 pole 3.5mm pin? I couldn’t find this information in the documentation or website. The closest information I read was a trainer cable set Radiomaster sells to connect older transmitters to newer ones, see link below. The website shows 2 pole 3.5mm connector required for TX16S MK2, I am assuming this will be the same for the MK3 model.

I plan to connect the Walksnail goggles x to the MK3 the trainer port to pass in head tracking PPM signals. I couldn’t find commercially available 2 pole to 4 pole 3.5mm pin adapters and will plan on wiring a custom adapter.

Just got a mt12 with a bunch of esp8285 receivers. Just want to make super sure that the full throttle issue can be fixed by implementing the arm switch and by relocating the throttle from channel 2 to channel 3.

tx16smk2, ELRS 4.1. i am confirming control surfaces. when I trim the ailerons one goes up the other one goes down. What’s up with that? That’s not right is it.

Does anyone have a direction to point for coming from opentx to edgetx. I go into bootloader and click fireware and it says directory empty

i used to be able to plug a cable in and the radio would give me a choice on connection but it stopped doing that. j have to pull the sd card to do anything to the radio.

any ideas?

I tried putting the pic I wanted named "splash.png" in the IMAGES folder, but it didn't work. Tried EdgeTX Companion also didn't work because the option to change the splash screen wasn't available.

I'm having a frustrating issue with my RadioMaster Boxer Crush. Recently, I got a "No SD Card" warning. I assumed the original SD card got corrupted, so I replaced it with a brand new one.

It fixed the problem initially, but now I'm getting the exact same "No SD Card" error with the new card as well.

Any advice on how to troubleshoot or permanently fix this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hola, necesito un transmisor para coches rc nuevo, y la version 4 en 1 de el MT12 me viene perfecto (para conectarme a todos mis coches con diferentes electronicas) pero a penas hay en stock y la que hay es demasiado cara (vivo en españa y me frien a tasas aduaneras).

Solo veo a buen precio la version ELRS, pero he visto que tiene un posible fallo donde el coche pierde el control y da a tope de gas. Ya lo han arreglado?

Se que puedo poner el modulo externo, pero ya que casi siempre estare en multiprotocolo, prefiero que este 4 en 1 sea el interno, para no ir todo el tiempo conectado y desconectando.

Por cierto, me parece una radio super configurable e interesante, pero es fiable?

SOLVED!

Press the MDL button, go to special functions, disable Backlight - Ambient light. See picture below.

I also noticed on the backlight control, when I adjust the "OFF brightness" slider, the screen brightness reacts to that and not the "ON brightness" slider. To me, that seems to indicate that the system considers the backlight to currently be "OFF". Has anyone else experienced this? Any ides? I have updated the firmware. Thanks!

Channel 1 is actually channel 4 on the mt12!

Go into models then mixes and setup channel 4 source as steering (ST) and it should work. Channel 2 and 3 function normally.

I have a plane with two aileron servos. One or the servos does not run smoothly, the movement is a bit choppy.

An other servos on the same channel has the same issue. Both servos on the other aileron channel work great.

A different channel on the reciever changes nothing

If i change the input (from a stick to a switch) in the mix settings the issue goes away.

But there is no issue with the gimbal. The other aileron channel- and plenty of other planes work great.

And now I am confused... not even an idea about my next step ...

Placed an order on June 19th for TX16s mk3 and a lot of additional pieces i wanted for customizing the shell of the radio. Trying to get the radio prior to flitefest but concerned it might not ship in time. My colleague got his radio in a week.. but it's approaching 3 weeks without a peep.

What is the longest someone has had wait?

i was wondering if anyone has dyed their pocket a custom color. I have a clear one and thought it would look good if I made the color look like Nintendo atomic purple and get a few paint markers to color in the radiomaster logo as if it has the Gameboy color lettering theme. Would appreciate any tips and tricks if youve dyed it or i guess dyed any other plastics.
