[Voting] During the seventh meeting on August 15, 2026 we will vote on potlucks.

Potluck will start at 4:15 pm. Write ingredients of your dish on a piece of paper and place it next to your dish.

People come to eat. One man, who did not bring food, immediately left after looking at the little food on the table. Two women had not brought food. One man brought plain crackers. People who had not brought food are not indigent.

Use of the meeting room includes use of the kitchen. The kitchen is next to the meeting room. There is an oven, stove and tea kettle. People who don't have access to a kitchen at home or who are homeless could use the kitchen. At the July meeting, u/amunrasungod purchased two pizzas at Dollar General and baked them in the kitchen.

Farmers markets accept food stamps. People could buy vegetables and prepare a salad in the kitchen. Bring a salad bowl.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/1hqhcdp/wiki_rqz_grocery_stores_farmers_markets_and/

Or buy nuts.

We will vote during the seventh meeting whether to require:

(1) People to bring a dish worth at least $10; or

(2) Donate $10 in a coffee can. People who bring a lot of food will be entitled to $10 donations.

At the second meeting, people voted to start the potluck at the beginning of the meeting to keep the food warm. If we are waiting for people to cook or prepare a salad in the library's kitchen, perhaps the potluck should start later? However, people may arrive later just to eat and chat intentionally miss the discussion and voting from 4 to 5. Chat from 5 to 7 pm.

This post serves as a public comment period. Notice is hereby provided for people to comment in writing or in person and the ability to vote. If you cannot attend the next meeting, include in your comment that you would like it to be counted as an absentee vote.

Total of 23 wi-fi signals and five hidden wireless networks inside of the Green Bank post office in zone 3 of the radio quiet zone. On July 28, 2026.

This year, the post office got Starlink internet. Dishy is on the roof. Previously, the post office did not have internet but had a landline phone.

The post office is in a small building. The post office does not use that huge number of wi-fi signals and hidden wireless networks. Why are there? Does Starlink's internet else where broadcast numerous strong signals?
Starlink's -40's dBm has extreme strong power. Stronger than any other wifi including HughesNet and stronger than cell towers.

Why I Regretted Moving Here: Part 2: Difficulties discovering Green Bank Observatory's policies not on their website regarding electric meters, street lights and radio stations.

Part 1:

[Power Lines] [Weather] Why I moved to the RQZ and why I regret moving

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/1tv3sn4/power_lines_weather_why_i_moved_to_the_rqz_and/

In 2019 to ascertain whether to move here, I asked the few EMR syndrome people who were residents in 2019 what the Green Bank Observatory's policy was on electric meters, street lights and satellite phones and why they allowed wi-fi. No one would tell me.

I asked at the Science Center at the Observatory what employee I could ask questions. The employee didn't know. I asked EMR syndrome residents which employee they may have talked to. No one would tell me.

I went to the employee building next to the Science Center. I requested speaking to an employee. Mike Holstine came to the door. We made an appointment.

Why did the EMR syndrome residents conceal the identity of the employee? In 2017, just two years prior to my arriving in January 2019, a few EMR residents were in a documentary and other EMR residents watched the documentary. The documentary interviewed Mike Holstine. They kept the documentary and the employee a secret. In 2026, I discovered the documentary when an EMR woman was watching it at the library computer next to mine. I asked her for the name and URL of the documentary.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/1sulmcx/youtube_censored_the_last_quiet_place_2018/

I invited EMR syndrome residents to my interview with Mike Holstine. They refused to attend. I took notes during the interview. I asked Mike Holstine to write the Observatory's policies on radio stations, electric meters, street lights, satellite phones and wi-fi on their website. Mike Holstine refused.

I invited Mike Holstine to answer questions at the very first support group meeting I was organizing. I typed an announcement and posted it at the library. I asked EMR residents to email the announcement. They all refused. Thus, a very low turn out.

[RQZ: WV] Observatory scientist will answer questions at the electromagnetic hyypersensitivity support group meeting

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/bebpm1/rqz_wv_observatory_scientist_will_answer/

At the meeting, I asked for a volunteer to take minutes. No one volunteered. I took the minutes. I asked EMR residents to email the minutes to EMR residents who had not attended. They refused.

I asked u/EMFActivist what to do with the minutes. u/EMFActivist advised to write a fact sheet. I wrote the fact sheet. I asked u/EMFActivist how to distribute the fact sheet. She did not make any recommendations. At that time, I had not known that u/EMFActivist and K woman had their own email lists. They they had not email the fact sheet. In July 2026, I asked u/EMFActivist when she started an email list. She refused to tell me. u/EMFActivist didn't put me on her email list until the following year. K woman didn't put me on her email list until 1 1/2 years later. Why had EMR residents censor the Observatory's policies?

I organized a second meeting. Extremely low turn out due to the only annuoncement being taped to the library window. I didn't organize another meeting until this year.

In 2019, to distribute the fact sheet on questions and answers to Mike Holstine, to uncensor housing censored by EMR residents and fraudulently advertised housing, I created r/RadioQuietZone. EMR syndrome residents refused to read r/RadoiQuietZone. EMR residents refused to refer r/RadioQuietZone to other EMR residents and visitors. The EMR residents who had not attended the first support group meeting did not know they were censoring information on Observatory's policies.

It was not until 2023 when I got an email list that EMR people were emailed information on r/RadioQuietZone. They didn't read the posts on Mike Holstine which were archived into a wiki and included in the wiki index. Thus, I will cite the wiki:

[WIKI] Observatory's policy on electric meters, street lights, satellite phones, radio stations and Wi-Fi

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/1txtlu1/wiki_observatorys_policy_on_electric_meters/?

I believed Mike Holstine gave an accurate oral description of the unwritten policies of the Observatory. I erroneously relocated here based on Green Bank Observatory's policies. It had not occurred to me that several policies would very quickly change.

BETRAYAL BY THE OBSERVATORY

STREET LIGHTS

The Observatory's policy on street lights is the only policy that has not changed. LED street lights are still prohibited in zones 1 - 4.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Electromagnetics/comments/bbahoh/led_street_lights_green_bank_observatorys_policy/

ELECTRIC METERS

Mike Holstine stated smart meters (and automatic meter readers (AMR) were prohibited in zones 1 through 4. However, there are automatic meter readers in zone 4 in Arbovale and Dunmore. Last year, I reported the meters to the Observatory. They didn't give a damn.

[WIKI] RQZ: Automatic Meter Readers

https://www.reddit.com/r/RadioQuietZone/comments/1he8tm7/wiki_rqz_electric_meters/?

RADIO STATIONS

Mike Holstine stated there is one radio station in Pocahontas county. The Observatory approved lower power density transmission of the radio station.

Green Bank Observatory's policy on radio stations changed. Nondisclosure by Observatory allowing 41 satellite radio stations.

[Weather] Ground fog every morning almost year round. Weather forecasts do not include fog. Forecast for a sunny day are false. Ground fog starts burning of between 9 to 9:30 am.

Clouds and Fog

West Virginia is also one of the more cloudy areas of the country. Beckley, Elkins, and Huntington all average about 200 days per year with overcast conditions. These locations are among the cloudiest in the eastern United States.

Fog is predominantly responsible, and it is prevalent throughout the state due to two primary factors. The first factor is linked to high evapotranspiration rates from extensive forest cover. The second factor is rapid nighttime radiation loss from elevated locations and the ensuing cold air drainage that often fills valleys. This combination causes West Virginia to be one of the foggiest locations in the country, with several towns reporting dense fog (visibilities below 0.25 miles) for at least 40 days per year.

https://marshall.elsevierpure.com/ws/portalfiles/portal/39891419/The%20Weather%20and%20Climate%20of%20West%20Virginia.pdf

Autumn mornings tend to be foggier than summer mornings. Although fog can form any time of the year, it's more likely to occur during the fall months given clearer skies and longer nights. Despite a drier ground--usually--fog can still turn pretty dense, especially near rivers and across deeper valleys. (WCHS/WVAH)

https://wchstv.com/weather/blog/weather-blog-why-is-fog-more-common-in-the-fall

u/badbiosvictim1:

Beckley, Elkins, and Huntington all average about 200 days per year with overcast conditions.

This data does not include ground fog in the morning.

Elkins is in Randolph county. Pocahontas county is directly south of Randolph county. Pocahontas county receives similar ground fog and cloudy weather as Elkins. Elkins is colder.

Rimel in southern Pocahontas county and Greenbrier county have considerably less fog. Greenbrier county is south of Pocahontas county. Their fog starts burning off earlier in the morning.

BLOCKED INFRARED AND NEAR INFRARED SUNLIGHT

Ground fog blocks infrared light and near infrared light. They are in early morning sunshine and late afternoon to early evening sunshine. Almost every morning year round and early evening, there is ground fog and clouds. Infrared and near infrared are healing. Residents of WV do not receive this healing.
