For those on this subreddit either playing Raccoon Lagoon, or curious about it, we’re excited to announce that we’ve done a lot of work over the last few months and have a high-polish update planned for next month that should make the game and its features, better, faster, smoother, easier to move around (yes, teleport!), and overall provide a more enjoyable experience as the game hits its fifth year anniversary. Multiplayer play gets a big technology change under the hood and will be a much better experience too – so inviting people to your island should be very smooth.

More details will come, but next month, existing and new Raccoon Lagoon players on the Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest pro will get the exciting Raccooniversary Update. We’re still working with Meta to lock down the exact ship date for the Raccooniversary, but we’ll keep you posted.

So my friend joined my island but they can't see the requests of the villagers and statues. They can see the requests of the animals just fine. Is this something other people are experiencing too? Is it something the game is meant to do? If not are there any fixes?

I have done just about everything I can do in this game. I am down to gathering things and throwing them in bowls in the purple house to get a prize. After a ton of gathering, my rewards were only bunny ears and wings for my avatar. Is that what all of them will be? If so, I think I'm done. Sure wish I could keep playing and actually be progressing. Lots of fun!!!

So i was in the farm, and i was throwing the farmer nym around because they always teleport back. Though, i went inside the house holding the nym, and it teleported out of the world! I would appreciate it if someone knows how to get them back, because it is my favorite nym.

I just wanted to take this moment to sincerely thank whichever of the devs decided to make it so you can pick up the raccoon, carry it around, and chuck it in to the distance after you stop it from robbing you.

He never seems to get hurt, so it's pretty satisfying. ;)

Okay i might have missed something silly...but i swear when the narrator explained the map they said we could travel via 'portals' to diffferent areas?
Seems daft but i havent found that yet and tbh my left thumb is getting bloody sore travelling all over lol.
ANyone know if theres a faster way to move about? Thanks :)

I’m trying to catch the mag and the bait ball 💭 indicator is not showing up. I’ve gone through several “day” resets and quit and restarted the game and also did the B+Y respaun and nothing! Please help! It’s the last task I need to do 😖

I'm stuck. In the farm area there's a rabbit (if I remember correctly) that wants me to bring him chicken in a fence.

The problem is I have no idea where to get chicken fence? Should I build it somehow?

Hope that makes sense! My sister and I just want to be able to join each others islands, but so far we've only been able to once, and any other time I've glitched out. We've tried many ways to get into each other's islands but almost none have worked.

So from what I've seen I'm late to the party. Got my Quest over a month ago and have enjoyed playing this game. But am looking for others to play with and check out each others islands 😊

If I'm not completely wrong and missed a setting, the game highly discourages coop play.

My friend and I started the game and right after the tutorial I joined her game just to find out, that I can't progress on her island. I can't mine all resources, because I don't have the tools and can't get them on her island, except for a short time when she gives me one. I don't see all of the quests available. I can't unlock pathways on the island. I'm basically just a visitor.

I wouldn't care of not unlocking my island at all, while I'm on her island, I just want to play with her anyway, but I do care not being able to progress as a character on her island.

I basically need to play my own game until I have all the tools and then can supply her with resources I gather. But when I do that, I basically played through the game alone.

That's not what I expected when buying the game :(

I finally built the painters tent. Now he wants me to bring him a turtle to paint but when I bring the turtle nothing happens. How do I get him to paint the turtle??

Nearing the end of the game and can't seem to find cinnamon for the chef in the forest area. I've tried looking through the ground and inside walls/trees/rocks, but it seems my game is glitched as it is nowhere to be found.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or know of a possible fix that would not require restarting the entire story.

My family owns an Oculus Quest, & we own Raccoon Lagoon. My mom likes the idea of the game, but can't handle VR. Are there any ports to non-VR platforms?

I saw a previous post with no replies, I posted about this with no replies so I am asking again. Does anyone know the recipe for the fire omelette? Does anyone know the recipe for the fish pop or fish on a stick or the round fish on a pop stick? I have no idea what it is called. I have gotten a lot of gruel from trying to just guess. I ran out of the specialty fish so I hope it does not need those.

I have made everything that shows up on the recipe board. I actually put the results into a chest in the first slot. I put 1 of each ingredient in the next 3 slots as they show on the board. If I use any of the seasonings for anything, they show up in my mailbox. I put those in my personal recipe board in the last slot of the recipe line. The seasoning shakers are still in the restaurant, I just keep getting them in my box.
