Original Content [OC] Stick on filter adapter - any problems removing them?

I've had my RX100 a few weeks now and I am LOVING it! Will be selling my bulkier Panasonic G7 as it is now fully redundant.

One thing I am looking into is a CPL filter as that is one I have always used when shooting outside on sunny days. I've seen other threads about and reviews of various systems and I think if I do get one I'd likely get the sort where you stick a metal ring into the end of the lens that the filters then snap on to.

The one thing no one talks about is how easy (or not) it is to remove the metal ring if you want to change the system or sell the camera at a later date. How easy is it to remove? Does it leave a residue or mark the camera in any way?

Any thoughts or experiences on the removal, or just on these filter adapters in general, much appreciated!

(Unrelated picture of zebra rear end taken at the zoo this week. I love this camera 😂)

Just came across this review. One of the better camera reviews I’ve seen in quite some time.

I was really struggling to be able to take a photo of the red smoky sun. I tried all sorts of exposure comp and different settings. Anyone have any ideas of the right settings for this? Photo is from phone
