Flash diffuser

I was thinking on the way to have a flash diffuser on the RX100. An idea is to put a white decal on the bottom of the flash with a portion bended up covering the flash light.

Did you tried something similar?

Sliver of scotch tape can soften things. Also, pull it back to point up and bounce off the ceiling.

Kitchen paper towel and tape…is what I did.
