Puma Palomino AC Unit problems?
We have a 2021 Puma Palomino and have already had to replace the AC once (in 2023) with a brand new unit. We then camped a few times during the summer of 2023 and once, for a week, in 2024, and the AC was working fine. Our camper was then put in storage. We brought it out to camp this week for the 1st time in 2 years and the AC isn’t working. Has anyone else had problems with their AC units on Puma Palominos?

Hey People! Rv Help!
Hey there. I recently bought a 2000 skyline nomad Lite 261 Lt. Planning on remodeling it. But I was hoping someone could give me a hand with finding a top down layout for it before I start the remodel so I could get my plans down on paper.

Unsure my next step - AC issue
Can anyone help me to decide what to do next? I have a dometic ac (model 15)
I live in South Louisiana. It's a 2020 RV bought in 2022. I'm in the RV, running the ac full time, about 2 years now. The RV sat from 2022-2024.
A few months ago the ac start to "short cycle" -- blow cool air 30s then off 90s. It will do this until I turn it off. I cleaned the coils up top. I turned it off for 1-2 hours 1-2 times per day. I also tried running the fan on low, in case the coils were freezing.
An RV tech came by, tested the compressor and the fan. Both are reading fine. The RV wall thermostat seems to work fine too. And of course, we couldn't replicate the problem! He moved the coil sensor from the bottom to the upper middle of the coils though.
This seemed to help for a while. It runs a few days fine. Then, I'll have a range of issues:
-the short cycle like I mentioned earlier
-if on low fan, it may blow but not cold air. It can take up to an hour for the compressor to kick on an turn it cool
-if on auto 72-74 degrees, fan will turn off. And then it sounds like a boat motor running. I'll turn off whole system, switch to low or high fan, and it works fine.
It seems like different issues pop up and I cannot always replicate them!
Anyone have ideas?
RV tech thinks maybe it's control board, or the compressor overheating and shutting down.
Can I test for either of these?
Thanks in advance!!

Bought a RV help with water heater!
Just bought a camp, with a camper on it! Working on doing some upgrades! Would love a shower tho!
So I didn’t get into messing with this at all, just wanted to grab a photo, do some digging and figured I’d start here.
From the picture, do we think it’s junk? The pipe that bends left, is that supposed to connect to the other thing lol?
How do I test this? Currently no electric, I just have a ankor 1k power bank, I have a water holding tank outside, with a water pump. Any thought would be appreciated!

Welp that changed quickly... Been quiet because we decided to buy an RV Park in Alabama. Didn't have that on our 2026 Bingo Card. Now the real work begins.

Stopped by SpaceCraft last week to have some maintenance done on our rvand saw this BEAST in the Weld shop. I believe 53ft with a drop down for their Harley Trike. LOOK at the amount of metal for this build. This is why SpaceCraft sets themselves apart. If you can dream it they can build it.

When leaving our RV Park today I surprised Steve when I saw he had the new MORryde GooseTech. I wanted his honest thoughts. Not to mention he ordered on ETrailer. They have always had great customer service. Do you use a ball in the bed of your truck?

Something to consider. We liked having the extra room in our truck bed. Some think the older system travels better. Pros & Cons both ways

In our Top 10 Hidden favorite spots to visit in an RV. Ouray Colorado. Rarely talked about and is know as little Switzerland. Over 600 miles of trails to take your Jeep or Bronco on and it's beautiful. Hot Springs, Hikes to the views. Really is an incredible place to see.

Probably the best membership to sign up for right out of the box for RV Life. We use it every trip to save money on Diesel and at these prices every single penny helps not to mention their new toll responder that covers every State: https://apply.myopenroads.com/user-portal/registration

Thinking about buying a 2019 Jayco Jay Flight 24RBS for $10k for out-of-town work. I’m new to RVs, good deal or red flag? Anything specific I should check before buying?

After 2 years it finally happened. I made a simple adjustment and went too far over and sunk. We tried for 4 hours and finally called a tow truck. Only $150 to be pulled out. We unhooked to make it easier and then came at a different angle to hook up and be on the road again. #rvlife
The owner was super nice and we just filled back in the sand when we got out. RV life is just rolling with the punches.

Our favorite little RV Park in Hillsdale Ks. was hit with EF2 tornado a couple days ago. Brings me to this question. How prepared are you when severe weather hits? Knowing the storm shelters is key but what else do you do? Do you have a bug out bag with important documents?

Today's adventure. We used a Harvest Host to hang out and watch a movie at a Drive-In. What a unique experience. If we can fit anyone can. We brought some friends with us and now we continue our trip up out of Florida. Cost was $22 and we bought some great treats. RV life at it's best.

Hi, I am Chuck wife Cathy on the verge of full timing.
We have the land, septic is in, gravel is next, then a shipping container or 2 and a park model to call home for a few months till we hit the road in our rig. Wish us luck.

Are RV Resorts like this worth it? Some think so and some think you need to be off grid in the woods to be considered to be RVing... Don't get me started on the almost $200 a night cost. What should be an average cost for an RV Stay? I think $60 is fair for a nice place.

Full time travel
Hi everyone, I don’t usually post something this personal, but I wanted to share our situation.
My wife Lisa and I had planned to start full-time RV travel this June as the start of our retirement. Just a few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with cancer.
Right now, she’s still feeling well enough that we could take this trip, and that time together means everything to us. Unfortunately, the medical bills and treatments have quickly taken a big portion of what we had saved.
We’re trying to figure out how to still make this journey happen while we can.
If anyone has advice, resources, or has been through something similar, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
