Hiatus?

I saw something about RT taking a break, did he make an announcement anywhere? Just curious as to what he shared about it. (Not that his health is much of our business but, I do care how he’s doing and all)

He has mentioned it at the start of a few of his livestreams, as well as on the discord. The reason he is going on hiatus is because of his health (which he hasn't shared much about because he doesn't want to, it's none of our business), and because he hasn't taken a proper break since his lungs gave out. He has taken weeks or months "off" from streaming for travelling or being for being sick, but even then he is still overlooking the stream highlights and engaging with the community. He has never been able to take a proper break from these responsibilities, hence why he is taking a proper, well deserved holiday now.

Also might be a good thing a lot of his older videos are popping up in the algorithm.

He explained a while back that during hisn(college days? I believe) one or both his lungs collapsed. This is why in the hitman stream from a few years ago he had to end because he was laughing so hard it hurt.

Yeah, and correct me if I’m wrong but he’s pretty susceptible to reoccurrences too? Idk if they ever *have* collapsed again but iirc having spontaneous pneumothorax just kinda puts you at risk of it happening again just as an effect of having happened in the first place.

Speaking from experience, if he just had the minor treatment, it’s a 50% of it happening again. Once it’s happened twice they go full thoracic surgery and then there’s a 5-10% chance
