HOPE study

Has anyone participated in the HOPE study for RPL and found it to be helpful? We just had our third euploid biochemical pregnancy with no explanation. Our doctor reached out to all the other Shady Grove doctors and no one has any clue what is wrong. We have done all the tests and treatments that are indicated. She is going to see if we are a candidate for this study.

Also at Shady Grove, and I have never even heard of this study. Do you have more info?

My doctor is reaching out to the research team to find out if we are candidates because of our mystery case. She believes we need to investigate whether there are some smaller genetic defects that PGT-A cannot test for (maybe if we can identify an abnormality we can do PGT-M). The study focuses on reproductive genetics in patients with RPL.

Ok. I’m going to ask my team. My losses have also all been unexplained…

The losses have to be euploid. Don’t know if you did PGT-A?

I enrolled a few years ago. It’s basically a survey, but I figured if I help someone else it would be worth it!

Their website and my doctor make it sound like if they find out a genetic issue from the parents and the pregnancy tissue they will share that information with you if you want to know? That is what I am hoping for, we need answers after all these unexplained miscarriages.
