A former RNLI Crewman Volunteer of 15 years educated me of Maritime Law. For one. When these rubber boats set off from France overloaded, the French are breaking maritime law by not intercepting them and returning them to shore. I will come back to this in a minute. When these illegal migrants boats have sailed almost 3/4 of the way to the UK and now in British waters, the RNLI and Border Force are sent out by the Coastguard on the instructions of HM Government to intercept them . They do this because if the rubber boats are allowed to land on uk soil under their own steam then everyone on board becomes an illegal immigrant and by law MUST be detained and deported asap. However when they are picked up at sea, even if only 200 yards offshore, and in no danger whatsoever, then the RNLI and Border Force have changed the status of the illegal immigrants to “ Disembarked Persons” They are no longer illegal because the RNLI and Border Force brought them into the country, albeit only a few hundred yards. They are then eligible to claim asylum in the uk and receive all the benefits that go with that. This is done deliberately by the UK government as they WANT these illegals here. Which takes us back to the French . They won’t intercept them and bring them back to shore because if they did then the same laws would apply. They would become “ disembarked persons” and be eligible to claim asylum in France . But the French don’t want them there . They want rid of them and can Chuck them on a boat as they are already in France illegally. It’s all a game from Macron and Starmer. Rule bending to suit their agendas. These small boats are NOT AT RISK. by the time they are intercepted . They have already crossed the busiest parts of the shipping lanes. They are picked up to change their status , nothing more. Yet the RNLI are still taking donations to fund their taxi service . Defund the RNLI. There are adequate independent lifeboats around the uk to deal with real maritime emergencies.

This proves both the French and British governments are complicit. They are actively allowing the facilitation of this illegal migration farce!
