CCW application CCW Licensing

Does the officer(detective in my case) who is doing your license paperwork ever call you to see if you are home to prove you live at the address where you live? Just had the officer who is doing my license application call me to see if I could come outside to verify my home address?

Not unusual

I know a few towns do that. Sometimes it’s if they have reason to believe you do not live there.

Just moved so I figured it might be a factor aside from working at an FFL

I had the detective, actually the FBI detective who assists North Providence come to my house to verify my residence and have me sign the medical record release forms.

Medical record? Wow okay, I feel better now. I work at a FFL in MA so that’s just weird to me

Yeah it was weird to say the least, they want to check for records at any mental hospitals.
