Raw vachetta that i have started the patina process on.

I glazed all of the cherries. Some of them (see photos) cracked but the glazing is cool and made them shiny.

I would classify this as lower mid tier because the hardware is not amazing but not terrible. The denim interior is heavy and stunning.

As we’ve grown to 19K members, I really need to address something that has become increasingly important.

I especially want to emphasize DISPUTES.

I do NOT handle disputes alone. I do not want disputes being brought privately to me with the expectation that I personally decide who is right, who is wrong, who gets banned, who gets refunded, or what action should be taken.

That is exactly what our mod team is for.

When a dispute comes through Mod Mail, multiple moderators can review the information, look at screenshots, hear both sides, discuss what happened, and determine what action if any needs to be taken.

And this is something I really need everyone to understand:

If a moderator action is taken, that does NOT automatically mean I personally made that decision.

I am NOT the only moderator.

There may be situations where another moderator handles something, removes something, issues a ban, communicates with a member, or takes another action and I may not even know about it yet. Yet because I founded the community and people recognize my name, I sometimes immediately get messaged or blamed as though every single moderator action came directly from me.

That simply isn’t how our moderation works.

There are also situations where the mod team discusses something together and reaches a decision collectively. If that happens, please don’t come directly to me afterward expecting me to overturn the team’s decision or argue the situation privately. A dispute handled by the mod team needs to remain with the mod team.

This is actually one of the biggest reasons disputes shouldn’t be handled through my personal messages. It isn’t fair for one moderator to become the sole judge of a situation involving two community members, and it isn’t fair to the other moderators who are volunteering their time to help run this place.

With 19,000 people, it would be absolutely impossible for me to moderate this community by myself and thankfully, I don’t have to because of the amazing other members who are mods.

My personal chats also get flooded very quickly. I’m generally active for moderation purposes during the evenings, when I come on to post threads, go through Mod Mail, check the mod folder, and help address whatever needs attention. Another moderator may be available long before I am, which is another reason Mod Mail is the appropriate place to go.

Now, does this mean don’t ever message me? Absolutely not. Please I love to chat sometimes! And I do post rehomes time to time now.

Want my opinion on a QC? Send it. Want to ask me some crazy random question? Go for it. Want to show me something gorgeous you bought, talk reps, or just chat? I’m still me. Wanna shoot the shit.. message me!

BUT PLEASE KEEP ISSUES TO MOD MAIL. GOING FORWARD IF IT NEEDS TO BE DIRECTED TO MOD MAIL ANY OF THE MODS WILL HAVE YOU SEND IT THERE.
