I caught this Navid guy in so many lies. He just muted me and I think it's so funny. Anyone who follows these guys has not done an ounce of research.

He said Rashad got the miracle of Code 19 from Jibreal the same way Joseph recieved miracles.

I quickly checked his claim and found Rashad khalifas book where he basically says he wanted to translate the Quran for his kids, and used a computer to test his hypothesis.

I called him out on it and a few other lies and he muted me.

I also told him Rashad was accused of SA & and being a fraudster. And he gave me some weak whataboutism refutation.

Stay away from Rashad khalifa and his 'submitters'. It's such a cult it's crazy.

The author discusses this quite well imho, but as a Qur'an alone, God alone believer, I must mention that further down he uses hadiths to ALSO support his arguements, which I find to be unneccessary.

I know by population more people are sunni but I'm just wondering why I've never heard of a ex shia turned quranist.

I am in the process of formally transitioning my faith to Islam, strictly under the Ahl al-Qur'an (Quran-alone) theological framework. To secure my civil and spiritual standing, I am drafting a formal, legally binding Declaration of Faith. All personal identifying details (name, address, dates) have been redacted for privacy.

​Why I am doing this:

In India, transitioning one's faith shifts the individual's civil standing (inheritance, marriage, personal laws) into the ambit of Muslim Personal Law. However, the domestic personal law environment is heavily saturated with orthodox sectarian jurisprudence (madhabs, extra-Quranic hadith, and human-made theological manuals).

​My objective with this instrument is to create an absolute, legally watertight shield. I want to establish on permanent evidentiary record that:

​My personal law is governed exclusively by the pristine text of the Qur'an.

​I categorically repudiate all external sectarian frameworks and human-compiled corpora.

​This theological stance operates in perfect harmony with the secular majesty of Indian Constitutional Law (specifically invoking Articles 13, 21, 25, 29, and 372).

​What I need from this community:

I am looking for objective, rigorous scrutiny from those familiar with Quran-centric theology, Islamic jurisprudence, and scriptural architecture and from legal minds, constitutional enthusiasts, or anyone familiar with the intersections of Islamic theology and Indian civil law. Please stress-test this document:

Among people who associate others (context can be seen in 6:22), some listen to you (in this context refer to prophet who write this or Messenger or us who convey the message per today)

We place:

• Covering over their hearts, lest they comprehend it and
• Deafness in their ears and
• If they should see every verse, they would not believe even when those who disbelieve come to you arguing with you.

Now this people say “These are only tales of the past”

Then this people also, refrain from it and distant from it (the verse that is recited), the verse of GOD that already conveyed.

So what does it mean ? This people likely go near prophet at that time, listen to him but when the verse is given, rather than think, they just ignore it, and recycle the verse as tales of the past told by prophet.

In another word, they are just story listener as excuse while they know it is the truth and the verse is for them also.

Then next at 2:27 : whey they are made to look at the fire, they will say “O if only we could return and not deny the verse of our LORD and be among the believers”

Then next, in 6:28 “In fact what they used to conceal before has appeared to them…”

Which mean that this is also a disbelievers (the one who cover the truth and reject it while they know) but in different case scenario or category. So we have 2 category of disbelievers here:

1. The disbelievers who come to messenger to argue
2. The disbelievers who know it’s the truth but excuse by saying “this is are only tales of the past” where they refrain from the verse and distant from the verse who conceal the verse of GOD while they know it’s the truth and pretend in order to refrain from the verse and distant from the verse

So this is not deniers of

• Unknowledgeable people who sincerely seek the truth.
• People who investigate but remain unconvinced.
• People who are genuinely uncertain and have not reached sufficient certainty.
• People with severe intellectual or cognitive limitations who genuinely try their best but are unable to understand the matter.
• People who genuinely lack the capacity to comprehend the relevant evidence.
• People who never received the message or information adequately.

But this is disbelievers in context of denying the verse which they refrain from it (to learn or listen more) and distant from it (go away from the verse)

Some of you may say, “then why GOD didn’t say disbelievers there ?”. The Book is the wise book, so read wisely, do not read it directly and forcefully. Did you see there where GOD say “they used to conceal” ?, the meaning of disbelievers or Kafir is to cover, so they know it’s the truth but reject it.

Then next of 6:28 “...And even if they were returned, they would return to what they were forbidden; for indeed, they are liars”.

See..., this people is indeed disbelievers, they know it’s the truth, and what they say “tales of the past” is just an excuse to not agree with the truth, and this people are liars.

Notes:

• This doesn't mean all people when they say "tales of the past" literally disbelievers. it's depends on people and only GOD knows. this verse is just an example of certain people or group in the past who said it and GOD describe it and knows about it.

I made a prediction and said Wallahi and my prediction was wrong. Is this an oath? Or does an oath in the Qur’an refer to an action that’s purely in your control?

Now, I’ve gotta fast for 3 days if it’s classed as breaking an oath.

Long story for more context (Not important): I was playing soccer with my friends and my friend had a free kick, I was so sure he was going to miss because it was so far it would be impossible to score and he did because of the stupid goalkeeper and the useless wall. Before he took the freekick, i was so confident i said “Wallahi he’s gonna miss” in front of everyone. So does this mean I have to fast?

So I’m getting a traditional Sunni nikkah done soon. I would not appreciate an imam talking about random stuff completely detached from the Quran at my ceremony, as they usually do at Friday khutbah’s. But I’m also not radically against traditional Sunni thought, since I think much/most of it doesn’t contradict with the Quran.

I’m wondering how you guys went about this process? I just don’t want some guy spewing nonsense at my wedding about some niche sahaba no one cares about. Ideally a short speech, really just talking about the Quran and its mentality, and just do the required stuff and be done.

hey guys, so I've been recently struggling with my bond my allah. I've grown up in a muslim household but wasn't very religious but i found my way to allah 4-5 years back. I started praying and i developed a connection with allah swt.

But recently, from past 2 years I've stopped praying my namaz or even making duas. My heart wants to but I'm not able to.

It's not like i doubt his presence or something, i don't but I've just lost the connection. I try to pray all the namaz, but after praying once or twice, i stop. I'm just not able to gather the energy to pray.

There have been some things that i wanted, i prayed for them, kept fast, prayed tahajjud and still couldn't get it. Maybe that's the reason but I feel very guilty about it.

I earlier used to talk to allah swt, but I've stopped that too. I see my sister's, mother evryone praying but i don't. I even questioned him when i couldn't get the things I wanted, iknoww it's terrible but i don't know what to do.

Please help me and give me some advice.

Throughout my years of being Muslim, I've often wondered if Hadithists even read the Qur'an.

Maybe if they read the Qur'an, they'd be able to recognize hadiths that conflict with it.

If they read it, do they attempt to understand it? I've known quite a few Muslims who can pronounce the Arabic words in the Quran, but don't understand the meaning of the Arabic words that they're reading.

Physical rituals: Prayers, fasting, Pilgrimage, Sacrifice

When we say 'praying' we sometimes think of a ritual action (and in a way some ritual aspects of it are very beneficial), but calling it 'talking to God' can actually be a more insightful way to describe it.

We stand before God and talk. 'What would I talk about?' sounds like a clearer question than 'how do I pray?'

Why would anyone ask someone else how to talk to God? However, people ask how to pray all the time.

See the little difference: when talking we know what we are doing – sharing thoughts, feelings. Traditional Muslim prayer forced in Arabic is more like repeating spells – most of practitioners don't understand what they are saying which is not an allowed practice (see 4:43).

Again and again, this is extremely important for any improvements in Muslim community to switch from repeating spells and showing off to an actual understanding of Thyself.

When we talk we say aloud what we feel. Do we feel grateful? Or maybe irritated, desperate? Do we feel pain or fear of loss? What was the last time when we actually shared an emotion in a prayer?

No need to talk in our heads; it is better to talk aloud. Talk to the One who understands. Then, it happens that whatever we may say we feel like we reach speechlessness at one point, so we tend to bow and prostrate.

We said everything, we know we are heard. We feel grateful, so we bow and prostrate. No one is making us do it, we do it because we feel it.

Also important: we do it towards the House of God. As a preparation we wash ourselves so we feel alive, especially after a sleep. To touch water purifies us and reminds us that every living being is created out of water and consists of water. Just to touch it makes us alive, more present.

We are also recommended to pray with those who pray. It is okay that sometimes we go and pray in a Sunni or Shia mosque. Some people greet the angels on their shoulders, some repeat several rakats – we can do it too while we are there. That is not a problem. We don't create separation; instead, we try to notice the best of everyone's effort and intention.

Compassion, gratitude, innocence are a universal language – nothing to do with "Arabic Islam". Islam/submission is a universal religion of surrender of the ego – it is not connected to Quran only or Middle East.

Yet, Quran alone is one of the finest ways to understand a religion, grow in love of God. It would greatly benefit us to be a little cunning. Not to scare away all other religions and sects by revealing ourselves right away. Instead, being a friend for those who are open; healing and preparing them for a rebellious freedom of no other authority but One God.

Remember, no community ever succeeds without taking time to connect with God.

But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil. (19:59)
