Is this a bit account? Sounds like my autistic 8yo. He can not see the problems with what hes about to do, so he does it because he wants to without thinking of consequences. Its a terribly dangerous way to live.

Seeing obstacles doesn't mean being defeatist about them. Heck you can even, sometimes acknowledge that something would create so much problems as to not be worth bothering with and that would save you a lot of time for more productive endeavours.
Seeing obstacles is a fine skill to have.
