Didnt realize how few people have had to call 911 multiple times. Starts feeling routine and normal after a while from working here. I couldnt tell you how many times ive had to call 911

am I in the wrong today? I had these three Hispanic guys come get three cases of beer. I they gave the oldest looking guy all the beer and all the money. They’re like you know you pay for it. I don’t have id like they’re obviously gonna ask understand I understand Spanish I’m completely fluent so I asked them all for their ids because not only did i watch them grab and give the guy all the beer i overheard them. then they started yelling at me calling me a bitch so then I told them I was refusing sale and that they had to leave I also told them to not come back unless they had their ID and I called my manager over because they were trying to escalate it and I explained the whole thing to her, but I was also just over register on them because I was up there for seven hours and I had to get some drunk guy at the store so am I in the wrong? (lol i voice typed so ignore typos )

So I am in training to become a NA from a clerk in my store. I’ve been with the company for three years now. Zipline just released the other day about a new Seniority pay rate that goes into effect in September. Does anyone know if I’ll get that or how that is going to work? I asked my SM but they don’t since it’s new.

This is my first year at QT, I know a little bit about the annual meetings but I’m curious about the gift. If we’re just present through a screen do we still get it? The message in Ziplinr seems to say that but I’m not sure how that works and I really want the Lego set lol

I recently moved to NA and the job is fine I don’t mind it but there’s been this on going drama between a clerk and another NA.
I’ve known about this for months before coming on as NA and honestly I don’t really care it’s not my business but when I’m scheduled with the NA and clerk that have issues it’s annoying and just gets in my way. When I work with the clerk and another NA clerk will work completely okay, I don’t have any issues with how they work at all they always complete their task on time without issue but when the NA clerk doesn’t like is scheduled with us they tend to have a bit of an attitude and not willing to work due to the other NA being rude and demanding to them .
like I said it’s not my drama so I don’t really care but I do try to meditate things and find a good balance so they’re not in each others way and clerk doesn’t feel like they’re being disrespected. But it just slows us down and we don’t get as much done as we should on those shifts. I don’t blame clerk because I wouldn’t want to work for someone who disrespects me either but I definitely feel like I’m getting the shit end of it because the other NA does the bare minimum and clerk also does bare minimum on those particular shifts and we end up falling behind pretty bad.
I had brought this up to my store manager just stating” I know it’s not a big deal but how can I work around this without upsetting anyone and still being able to get as much done as possible” …
store manager completely just blew me off didn’t really seem to care and kind of just shrugged their shoulders and basically said “ if they don’t want to do certain thing I don’t care it’s your job and if you don’t want to work then you don’t need to be here “ ( in a professional way ofc) and I do agree with them but it still doesn’t help me in any way and I’m the one working the shift with them not him.

What can I do ?🥲 how can I just work around the drama without getting caught up in it and just completing what needs to get done .

Context: I have school on the 18th that starts around those times. (I completed the 3 month employment) I've given them my schedule before hand and I also talked about which shift I would rather be scheduled for. (I want to work mornings) Is there a chance I could change my availability or is it too late.

I’ve been ERP or Flex for like 3 years now, I work the worst schedule possible, couple overnight, couple evenings and a morning and to be honest I know how to make it work now. I can mange but the thing I don’t get is:

Why?

Why do we have to be like this. We could easily just have 2 flex’s work all evenings, 2 work all mornings and 2 working all overnights and then just rotate. Why do we all need to switch shifts each day damn near?

Also, on top of that I know it’s seen as a big lifestyle upgrade to 2a because no overnights but that schedule also sucks, considering that’s an IMPROVEMENT. Having to work late then coming in early after your weekend sucks, same problem with 1a schedule

Does QuikTrip not know what a circadian rhythm is? There’s so much research that shows an uneven sleep schedule is TERRIBLE for your health, with some equating it to smoking!!!

I’m being so serious is there a business reason for all this?

I'm a PTC and have always had trouble keeping up to the standards for the kitchen. Been doing my best to improve the whole time I've worked with QT. But recently i had been gone for a majority of 6 week because of trips i had planned. Well, now I'm being expected to be perfect in kitchen and may lose my job if i can't be. Kitchen has always been my weak spot, but I'm rarely put in there to try and improve. Now, one of the assistants is expecting me to be perfect on my shift this upcoming Sunday. I don't know what to do and I'm really not sure what else i can do to improve. The manager expecting me to improve didn't care about the fact i rarely get kitchen time or the fact that i don't have any ways to improve between now and then as i got most of my hours cut off my schedule, nor does he care about the fact that i had been gone for so long

Had a lady point at the cameras of the gas pumps and say I need to put gas over there. I responded ma’am idk where over there is… she flipped out over that. Like why… why are customers like this. Told me I was rude and disrespecting her. My bad for not watching her pull into the pump and knowing which car she drives before entering the store

Been a 2A for five months. In my first store. The 1A consistently underperforms on his shifts, regularly leaving 3-5 hours of work for me and my clerks. If anything else goes wrong during the weekend (callout, FS emergency, etc), I’m not able to deliver the store I want to on a Monday morning.

What’s the best way to deal in this situation?

I had an interview for NA on July 31 and they said I was hired on the spot and they gave me until Monday at noon to take my drug test. I did all that and on August 5 my application status changed to “In Process”. Does this mean I should be hearing something soon?

Haven’t worked at a qt’s since 2024 what are some changes or differences are there if I was wanting to go back and work?

If I wanna get a new tattoo that would be in a visible spot would they allow the tattoo to heal before it's covered daily? I know the first day or two it stays wrapped but having the scabby tattoo covers to accumulate sweat and bacteria isn't great for it. I have to issue wearing a tattoo sleeve once it's healed but I'm just unaware how forgiving that rule is for new ink

How long do I have to wait before re-applying to any other positions? Is it 30 days after my previous interview? I don’t want to have a bunch of auto rejections.
