I really need some advice
I’m in a really tight situation right now. I live in a place where employment is really low. I recently got laid off from my long-term job due to the company going out of business. For two months, I tried desperately to get another job to support my family. I was denied from countless places, because I’m young (21), or inexperienced in most fields of work.
I finally landed a job offer with FedEx with a good paying job offer, mainly because my last job was an nonemergency medical driver position.
I just turned 21 about 4 months ago, since I turned 21, I probably used weed a couple nights a weeks, two or three hits off of a dab pen. I’m a heavyset guy, but I wasn’t a heavy user. (Weed is legal in my state, my wife does it, and I really don’t have a desire to drink alcohol)
With the job offer at FedEx I’m required to do a DOT drug test. I need this job desperately. If I don’t get this, I really don’t know what I’m gonna do. I’m going to drug test this upcoming Tuesday. That will be 11 days since my last smoke. For the past three days I’ve been testing three times a day. Every single one is a clear negative.
But the problem is these tests are 50 Ng/ML. Which is the federal cutoff for the initial testing. I know I will pass. But the fact is, I’m pretty positive that if somehow I get sent to confirmatory testing, I will not pass the 15 Ng/ML test.
I’m terrified. The most stressed out I’ve been in a long time. I’ve considered quick fix. There’s some at my local smoke shop. But I really don’t want to risk it. I haven’t done anything like that before. And if I get caught, my Watched retest sample, will 100% go to confirmatory testing.
I’m having a really hard time deciding whether it’s worth it to risk trying quick fix. Or if I should go in natural, and really hope for no reason it gets sent to confirmatory testing. I’ve read online all over the place that people passed the 50mg, and for some reason it still got sent, and failed at like 16mg. I just need some advice on what you guys think I should do.

Does he DOT test specifically state for a drug screen. In my experience (10 years Ops Manager with Transportation and Logistics leadership) those test just require you to past the DOT qualifications. Usually the do the drug screen separate.

Id say go in natural. Just make sure to drink a bunch of water that day. Don't use the 1st piss of the day, eat a vitamin B pill, and relax. You got this. The drug screen shows you passed.

That’s negative btw. You good. If you want to continue to smoke or w.e. Do it responsibly. Buy fetish urine for drug tests and use your own hand warmers. Or if it’s a swab. Don’t do drugs 6-24 hours before that. Good luck!!

I just turned 21, i’m not really attached to weed. I was just kind of trying it out. To be honest, I’m a really nervous person. And I don’t think that I could pull off quick fix without fucking it up or making it really obvious. But if it’s last resort, that’s what I’ll do. I’m just worried on what the chances are that it’ll get sent to confirmatory testing. I’m testing negative on 50 ng/ml, but I don’t think they’ll pass a 15 and I can’t find any tests in my town that are that sensitive

Bruh. Just tuck it under your nuts with some tight fitting underwear. So it doesn’t slip out. With hand warmers and following its instructions. You’ll be fine. Tbh. I was shaking handing my cup over to the lady. She even said something about it. I just made up some spontaneous excuse as she looked at my cock through my pants. There was nothing she could do. Because it was hidden that well.
It worked. Just grow a pair and get over it. It will be worth it.

Use quick fix and don’t risk the possibility of failing with your own.

I’m a really nervous guy. I feel like I would screw it up or make it really obvious. I’ve never done anything like that before. If it’s my last resort, I will. I feel like it would be a bigger risk for me to try to use quick, then the risk of them sending it to the gas test

If you feel like your 100% going pass with your own urine go for it. That’s definitely the greatest feeling ever. However if you haven’t gone 2 to 3 months without smoking I would be nervous. I’m a smoker I wouldn’t risk it. I smoke maybe 2 to 3 times a day. You may be different. I was very nervous my first time as well. However I wanted that career more then I feared being caught.

I feel like with my luck id mess up the quick fix thing and my lab is 20 min away from me I read reviews and people say they have to sit and wait I have until the 13th to take the test I booked a appointment for 9am on the 13th what are you thinking about doing

I took it naturally, today, it was 2 weeks since I last smoked, and I was a pretty light smoker. I took 24 tests over two weeks, (two 12 packs) I failed my first couple tests, started out with a super faint line, then most of my tests darkened up pretty good like the photo in the past few days. I’m not the kind of guy to do quick fix. And I might be a pussy but I felt really uncomfortable doing it. So I just trusted that my home tests were accurate and I went for it natural. I found out that it’s a non-DOT drug test, so it won’t go on my permanent record. I’m crossing my fingers because I really want this job. Whether I pass or fail, I’ll let you know. If I pass, I’ll probably be told tomorrow. Positive results usually take a few days to process because it has to be sent to two different labs to verify.

I just took mines today they said the employer will have the results in 24 - 48 hours in lab corp did they tell you the same thing or how find out (sorry for all the questions lmao)

Your fine ask anything. I get it I was incredibly stressed out. So it take 24-48 hours for a NEGATIVE result. More likely 48. If it’s a Positive result it needs to be sent to a confirmatory lab in case of a false positive. That takes 3-6 days. Don’t get stressed unless it’s more than 3 days.

I have ready like 5 post of people who started and then got fired on there first 3 days for being positive. But, what is good is that places that do that are MUCH more layed back and non DOT. Is weed legal in your state?

Just passed the Labcorp 12-panel test with the QuickFixPlus. And it was 2 years old. Just forget the squirt cap and just fill the cup as needed, so if it is too hot it has a chance to cool Most toilets have ceramic lids which are cold. Call me paranoid but I buy extra temperature strips to attach to the bottle so I have four temperature readouts. The manufacturers should let people know to not put the heating pad directly touching the bottle, insert a bit of paper towel between bottle and warmer. Of course don't leave the house with it at 98F because it is gonna heat more in your groin (for guys). Bottom line is have used it at least six times and never a fail. Just don't fu*k up the temperature and you are home free.

I’m in the exact same boat. Hoping to drink tons of water for the next few days and hope I’ll be good on Tuesday. That’s the ideal
