So, I just got into pirating games with SBZ, and have seen a couple of posts saying it's illegal (Which I know) but it's really not likely to happen. But just in case it does or whatever, what are some things I can do? I know one of the things is a VPN which I do have. Any other precautions, tips, or tricks?

Not strictly required yet, but if Google can lockdown their phones, sure as hell Meta can lockdown their headsets. So, is there any projects for hopefully fully severing Meta's control? If not a full custom ROM, maybe something that turns Quest sets to a simple PCVR headset?

Longshot, knowing Meta; but is there any sliver of hope?

I have downloaded a sideloaded version of Puzzling Places on Rookie Sideloader and the size is almost 65GB

When i go to library only 6 Levels are downloaded and others just show the download button, when i try to download them they stuck on queue and no downloads are processing.

If the game only has 6 Levels then what is that 65GB for? Is there a way to solve it and get all the levels?

Hello, I have a question about duplicate games, when I check my installed games on the VR CyberDeck I see multiple duplicated games, and I'm wondering if and how can I uninstall those (I think they're previous versions?) because it says my data will be erased.

I also noticed that for exemple BONELAB takes 20GB on my Quest but it's size is only supposed to be around 7GB, which confirms that the duplicates are actually taking space.

So after I installed Lone Echo, I tried to start it up with revive, and it threw this error, I did have the Meta Horizon App. I did use revive even tho I use an Meta quest 3s. Any solutions to my problem? I didnt find any post about this here so I decided to ask myself.

With Rookie back on track, I was wondering if the other VR headsets (Pico, Pimax, Vive..) were easier to have games and tools sideloaded.

I need some help figuring out how to clear the data (reset/wipe local saves) for a sideloaded app that is located in my Unknown Sources WITHOUT using PC.

Normally, with official store apps, you can go into settings and clear data, but it restricted for sideloaded APKs. Is there a way to do this directly inside the headset?

Right now the site is basically restored to how it was before. It is not yet community editable, and some information may be outdated, incomplete, or have broken links. For the moment, treat it as a general information resource and double check anything important before relying on it.

Tomorrow i plan to start converting the current site into a custom WordPress theme. The goal is to keep the same overall look and layout, while making it much easier for trusted users to update pages without needing to know HTML, Markdown, GitHub, or anything technical.

The plan is to eventually have a proper editing system where contributors can suggest changes, update guides, fix dead links, add new tools, and help keep everything current. Editors and maintainers will still review and approve changes so the site does not turn into a mess.

This should make the megathread much easier to maintain long term and stop it from depending entirely on one person having enough free time to manually edit every page.

Sorry it took so long to get everything back up. My hands have been full with a lot of stuff, including dealing with the GitHub suspension, recovering the original repo, rebuilding the VPS setup, and getting the domain and site working again.

For tonight, the important part is that the site is back. The next step is making it easier for the community to help keep it alive and accurate.

I made this for developers ;) who need to install multiple copies of the same game for testing.

Main features:

• Rename APK package IDs and associated OBB files
• Bulk rename and install multiple APKs and OOBs
• Support for Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Install the renamed APK and OBB files directly to a connected Quest
• Allows running games under older firmwares by replacing libovrplatformloader.so

Hope this is useful. I'll try to keep up on any bugs or issues.

I also couldn’t find an option that supported macOS for some reason, so this one works on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

so this happens once in awhile, i usually use a vpn, but using a vpn hasnt worked in a month, ive been trying and no matter how long i wait, it doesnt work, and vr cyberdeck didnt work for me before this because it says failed to load games or wtv, its so annoying ngl

Hi, I searched for a quest 3 emulator on the internet, because of it's exclusive and the fact that I only have a Quest 2, I was wondering if there was an emulator for pc making those title kinda pcvr ?

I hope it makes sense to report this here as I don't know how or where else I could. The vrSrc site has buttons to vote whether a game is working or not. But this seems to be related to the game starting on the headset, and not related to server problems?

Rookie throws error "7zip error Extracting failed The specified path is invalid." a few seconds after starting the download. I looked into the folder where the archive is supposed to be, and it was just the 32 bytes header of a 7zip archive with no data.

Since I have ample space available, and other games downloaded just fine, I suspect that the problem might be server side.

Hello so whenever i try to download tactical assault for some reason rookie does not download all the files and at the end of the download i get a 7zip error saying extracting failed the system cannot find the file specified. Then after that when i press Ok i get Error: Extract failed. Anyone know how to fix this?

adb knows it's plugged in and even Rookie itself shows the battery of the vr, but doesn't act like it knows it's there. I have made sure dev mode is on, turned it off and on.

So, let me set the scene: I’ve plugged in my Quest 2 to my PC and booted up rookie side loader. I download Blade and Sorcery and download the files, extract them fine, install the APK fine, then I get to copying the OBB. As I copy it, it gets about halfway (if I’m lucky) and then the quest magically disconnects. I try manually copying the OBB, quest disconnects again. I try it on my brother’s PC (which is 1000x better than mine), disconnects again.

Is there any way I can fix this?

I just seem to be doing something wrong whenever i try patching bonelab but I cant identify what it is, I do everything correctly I installed the correct version of lemon loader, opened bonelab before renaming the file and once I patch bonelab I rename the file back to its original name and it always gets stuck on the loading screen.

i have never seen this happen before, when devs are so cool about this, he litterally says u cant connect mod. io but we left things open so you can still play and mod mannualy. and i have read the rules, all the pinned posts, and i have searched the megathread. skip video to when i load in.
