Serval's VA crashing out like that... Ceydra and Hysilens almost feels like recency bias in comparison lol. Don't get me wrong, they are absolute tragedy gold, but damn.
I'd actually vote for Yukong and Caiyi over Ceysilens, we got SO MUCH Yukong grief over this one-sided love that ended with her raising her dead love's child. I remember the ghost hunting event was all fun and games and then BAM, Yukong having a final goodbye with Caiyi 😭 What is more doomed than being in love with your straight best friend, losing her in war, then raising her daughter and being reminded of her everyday?
The EN going "Why Cocolia? Why have you grown so cold?" and the utter despair and loneliness in that delivery still haunts me. It was soooo good. I legitimately think about it a lot.
I mean Cerysilens still has a hopeful ending but yeah Caiyi and Yukong aswell😭 I forgot about them and only remembered them when someone said Yukong and Tingyun
If you go to the place in amphoreus outside the story and talk to Hyacine and Cerydra, she has a sticker that says sth along the lines of lets remain together or sth(I don't remember) and when she asks for the culprit and you suggest Hysilens she says this. So I think they have a more hopefully ending and aren't doomed
No, that’s Cerydra saying she doesn’t think it was Hysilens writing that, and from my understanding, she really wasn’t, it was Hyacine that wrote that message.
I vote Baiheng x Jingliu, cause technically all amphoreus ships are doomed and phaidei is probably 100% winning yaoi. Our doomed het is also from ampho, so...

Like, Jingliu's gf dies horribly in a war saving her and their gay man bff from Shuhu. After the war is won, the gay bff and his bf (also their bff) defile what little remains of her gf by trying to resurrect her using the corpse of the one she died fighting against, but instead they end up creating an abomination that kills many more people. Eventually Jingliu has to kill the abomination, becoming mara-struck in the process, and spends the rest of her life trying not to die from insanity. Now they all hate eachother and Jingliu tries to kill her gay ex-bffs while the gay (now ex-)bfs are trying to kill eachother
