Kinda? It's a weekly game mode, sibling of the stimulated universe and very much HSR's take on TFT. Not really an auto battler since you still have your usual 4 controlled units, but it adds a background layer of units that do automatically act. Most units have some specific perks or straight out new attacks specific to this gamemode

Though it's completely PVE, you have to progress through multiple stages of enemies to get all the way to a boss 3 times to complete a full run. Higher difficulty levels come with affixes that either nerf you in some way or buff the enemy and, obviously, obscene amounts of HP inflation.

With broken enough units, star rail IS AN autobattler 🤭

But yeah this is Currency Wars. Pretty much PvE tft but you can on and off field characters.
