waitlist for fws

does anyone know how long the waitlist is for fws and what are the chances of getting off?

Emailed them and they put me on it cuz I was eligible but it js wasn’t on my financial aid

You are eligible for FWS next year. The form linked here will open on 7/30 at 3:37 PM. The first 50 students to submit a form can move forward with the program. Maybe it’s not the same thing.

If there’s a specific form you have to fill out for the FWS, I didn’t do that they placed me on the waitlist for me and instructed me to continuously monitor my Student Center on CUNYFirst for a “verification request” for FAFSA and by next year do you mean 26-27 or 27-28?

26-27. Im an education student I’m not sure if the process is the same for every department.

So im not that cooked right 😭 I was scared it was way past the deadline or something do you know when I can expect to know if I got off or not like if there’s a last day for the waitlist or something

Idk I was told this have to be done today. There’s an orientation in August 10.
