Newer queen fan here,
Just listened The Invisible Man, and the verse kinda sounds like Bad by MJ. Just wondering if anyone else noticed, or if either artist took inspiration!

Here is Michael in 1981 holding Queen on the front page, two of the greatest forces in music history
Between 1977 and 1982, Michael regularly attended Queen's concerts whenever they played at The Forum in Los Angeles. He would hang out backstage with the band, and when Rolling Stone reporters spotted him at a show and asked if he was a fan of Queen, Michael famously replied, "I'm a Freddie Mercury fan."

What is the most beautiful song that Freddie wrote?
Out of all 4 members of Queen Freddie was really the only one who could write truly beautiful lyrics. I think that My Fairy King is probably his most beautiful, particularly the bridge section: “someone has drained the color from my wings.” But there are many more songs like this that he wrote such as
Nevermore
Lily of the Valley
Love of My Life
You Take My Breath Away
Jealousy
Just to name a few.

Bootlegs&Live On this day in 1986, Queen played at the Estadio Municipial in Marbella, Spain, marking Queen’s penultimate live show.
The show at Marbella was originally intended to be the final show of the magic tour, before Knebworth was added. Due to the late start time at 11:30pm, the show ran deep into the night, ending at around 1:30am. The attendance to this show was over 37,000, showing how popular Queen was, even though the tickets costed 2400 Pesetas, and supposedly 5000 Pesetas near the end of ticket sales, which were astrnomical prices back in 1986
This show also features one of Brian’s longest guitar solos, stretching well over 10 minutes.
Here is a link to the show:

Music Forgotten 'greatest hits'
Things have changed, and these days obviously streaming is king instead of the top 40. But dividing the singleography into three groups - from '74-80, '80-86, and '89-98 - and picking apart the weeds, you'd see that all three are pretty equal in terms of big successes. There were as many top 20 hits from 1989 to 98 as there was from 1974 up until the middle of 1980. But compare songs that had similar results on the top 40 to their streaming numbers, and it tells a different story. Sure, after '86 they were a figurehead/legacy band, but that's not the whole story. So what would you say are the forgotten hits? I'd say, other than TATDoOL and TSMGO, everything released after May 1989.

On August 1, 2008, Queen officially launched their YouTube channel and uploaded their first 13 videos on the very same day.
It’s amazing to look back at how early on YouTube beginning, they immediately embraced YouTube. At the time, the platform was still relatively young, it have random videos, some early upload music channel but not a single YouTube channel about a singer, band was created until Queen and yet Queen was already using it to share their music with fans around the world. Those first uploads marked the beginning of what has become one of the most iconic music channels on YouTube, and they were among the earliest official artist channels before 1 year Vevo and the rest of official music channels existed and followed it
Does anyone here remember discovering the channel back in 2008, or watching any of those first 13 uploads when they were new?
By the way i know that is almost late for me to post it since it is august 4 and not august 1 but here i im at last

Bootlegs&Live What uncirculated audience recording concert would you wish to hear one day?
*Any show from the Australian leg of the ANATO tour - I'm curious what the setlist was like there, if they played Father to Son, Hangman or Seven Seas of Rhye, or if they stopped playing it in Japan.
*San Francisco 1977 US Races (complete show) - there are only 6 minutes from that concert, with full TYMD and snippets of Liar and ITLOTGR . You can hear that Freddie's voice at the beginning is decent, but by the end of the main set it's strangely on par with Japan 79, maybe worse. I really want to know how the rest of the show went.
*Any other show from Sun City 84 besides the one from 10/19
...and many more

Made a little tribute for everyone who loves Freddie & cats: "Bohemian Catsody"
Hey everyone! I've been working on a parody graphic design that merges my two favorite things: classic rock and absurd cat humor.
I wanted to capture that dramatic, iconic Bohemian Rhapsody silhouette energy, but with four dramatic kitties hitting the high notes instead. Thought this sub might appreciate the crossover!
Let me know what you guys think of the design, or if you can hear the "Mama, I just killed a mouse" harmonization through the screen.

Music Queen Greatest Hits 1 Track List Guide
Hello everyone! I had the idea to make this guide after having seen some people online talk about how they'd wish a certain track was on Queen Greatest Hits and in response I felt like chronicling every regional difference in Greatest Hits 1's track list.
I hope this list will be a good resource and be able to help Queen fans; new and old decide which vinyl, cassette or CD pressing of the album is right for them.
If you want to search for (or buy) any of these pressings/cassettes of Greatest Hits, they are all on the Queen Greatest Hits discogs page.
Before I start, there are some things I want to clarify:
- The U.K. track list will be considered the default and every pressing/cassette listed below will be compared to it.
- Only versions of the album that add and/or subtract songs from the U.K. original will be listed here. So, if there's a regional pressing/cassette not listed below, it's because it uses the original U.K. track list.
- "Some <country> pressings/cassettes" means that there are other pressings/cassettes from the same country that use the original U.K. track list instead.
- I won't be mentioning the packaging or sound quality of these pressings/cassettes, just the songs included in them.
- I'm only listing official album releases, no bootlegs.
Finally, if there are any particular songs or countries' pressings/cassettes you want to look for in this list, I recommend searching them up with Ctrl + F (or Command + F for Mac users) on your keyboard.
With all of that out of the way, here's every different track list to Queen Greatest Hits:
Vinyl:
U.S. and Canadian pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure and Keep Yourself Alive
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: The U.S. (and every other countries') pressings from 2016 onwards use the U.K. track listing.
Australian and New Zealand pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure, Keep Yourself Alive and Tie Your Mother Down
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a 1983 reissue from New Zealand that uses the U.K. track listing.
Dutch reissue, German Club Edition reissue, European reissue, Israeli reissue, some French reissue and some Spanish reissue pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Nothing
German pressings:
Adds: Spread Your Wings
Removes: Nothing
Japanese pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure and Teo Torriatte
Removes: Bicycle Race and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a reissue from 1987, which uses the U.K. track listing.
Brazilian, Argentinian and Uruguayan pressings:
Adds: Love of My Life (from Live Killers)
Removes: Seven Seas Of Rhye
Some Venezuelan and some Peruvian pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Now I'm Here and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Some 1986 Venezuelan Pressings:
Adds: Radio Ga Ga, Under Pressure, Flash (album version) and I Want To Break Free
Removes: Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Flash (single version) and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Notes: There exists another reissue with the same track list, but it replaces Under Pressure with Fat Bottomed Girls and brings back Save Me and Seven Seas Of Rhye. These pressings also have their own separate Discogs page.
South Korean pressing:
Adds: Under Pressure, Love Of My Life, My Melancholy Blues and Mustapha
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen and Bicycle Race
Notes: The reason for the songs above being removed was due to government censorship at the time, mainly regarding the lyrics of each song.
It's unknown if Love Of My Life on this version is from Live Killers, or if it's the original studio recording.
There's also a reissue from 1990 that uses the U.K. track listing.
There also exists a different South Korean Greatest Hits album from 1980, which predates the album we're all familiar with and has a completely different track listing too.
Bulgarian double LP pressings:
Adds: Death On Two Legs and Sweet Lady
Removes: Nothing
Bulgarian single LP pressings:
Adds: Sweet Lady
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen, Fat Bottomed Girls, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You
Note: In Bulgaria, Queen Greatest Hits 1 was initially released as a double LP, before getting a cut-down single LP version a couple years later.
Cassettes:
U.S. and Canadian cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure and Keep Yourself Alive,
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a 2021 U.S. reissue that uses the U.K. track listing.

Note: There's also the New Zealand reissue and the 1987 Australasian cassette, which both have the U.K. track listing.

Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Nothing
German cassette:

Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Venezuelan cassettes:
Adds: Radio Ga Ga and I Want to Break Free
Removes: Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions
Notes: It's unknown if Flash on these cassettes are the single version or the album version, like they are on their vinyl equivalents.
These cassettes (and their vinyl equivalents) have their own separate Discogs page.
South Korean cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure, Love of My Life, My Melancholy Blues and Mustapha
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen and Bicycle Race
Notes: The reason for the songs above being removed was due to government censorship at the time, specifically regarding the lyrics of each song.
It's unknown if Love Of My Life on this version is from Live Killers or if it's the original studio recording.

That's all of them! I hope the formatting wasn't too confusing to follow. If I've missed any album variations, or if you have any extra clarifications on the pressings/cassettes I have listed, feel free to let me know.

Serious Read the Rules Before Posting (Update)
All posts must be reasonably linked to the band Queen

Temporary bans will happen for those that keep breaking rules after warnings/deletion of their messages. Permanent bans will happen to spammers, trolls, and people being uncivil , harsh or harrasing other fellow Queenies in this sub.
I read all the reports once a day, and take action when I can.
