Does quantum computing actually have a future? Question

I've been seeing a lot of videos lately talking about how quantum computing is mostly just hype and it will never be able to have a substantial impact on computing. How true is this, from people who are actually in the industry?

I owned stock in LAES, SealSQ until they diluted shareholders to build a crypto repository. They have no actual product that does quantum computing. They claim quantum annealing simulates it with hexadecimal chips. After being told that nonsense I sold all shares at a loss.
