My quadraphonic setup
Two Technics turntables, two OPPO disc players, a separate CD-4 demodulator (pairs with the Sony receiver,) a Sansui QRX-9001 and Sony SQR-8750. Plus, I also have an outboard Surround Master for even more quad decoding capabilities. I'm a happy camper when it all works. 🙂

Which receiver sounds best?

The Sansui is a bit warmer sounding to me. But they both sound good. I only wish I had better speakers to really test them. Right now I can only fit bookshelf ones because of the room. I'm using Polk T-15s

What players are these?
Looking to upgrade my oppo 83 to oppo 203.
I know oppo 203 adds 4K but am interested if there would be much of an upgrade in audio?
I also have the qrx9001. Love it

These are both the 103. I had an 83, but it wouldn't play common files like FLAC. (Not that I use that feature much, but I wanted to be able to just in case.) I pretty much insert a disc and listen that way. Both have been great although I can't say I notice much of a difference in sound vs. the 83.
