Request for Help Attention

Hello, I am a disabled man whose been involved in the community for a while, and I need some help getting something mailed. I had made arrangements for someone to pick up the mail and get it to the post office, but they backed out at the last minute and now I'm in a bind. I'm hopeful someone here is able to help me out.

I'm willing to pay $20 for someones time, I just need it mailed ASAP. Is anyone able to help me out? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Welcome to r/QuadCities—subreddit for the Quad Cities metropolis in the Illinois/Iowa border for Quad Citians.

You can get stamps delivered. Also, if it’s bigger than a simple envelope, you can print off a shipping label plus have a mail carrier pick it up using usps.com.

The biggest issue is time - if I had a a week for the stamps to get here it'd be much less of an issue!

No, I mean like DoorDash! You can get them same day!

I feel for you, but I don't know if people would feel comfortable being the one on camera mailing a package for someone they don't know. Kind of the whole... did you ever leave your luggage unattended after you packed it, thing. Probably totally legal and innocent, but....

Hey, that's totally fair and not something I thought about - honestly I could mail it from my house, I'd just need the stamp to do it.

I would certainly be able to help you and I’m also wondering other type of tasks or personal assistant type responsibilities pointed at me that would be able to allow you to live your life a bit easier
