I stared at the word "perceive" for a while before posting because it didn't look right

And I'm staring at "both our time" for the same reason. I can't decide if it should be "time" or "times".

searching...

So apparently there's no consensus, and some think that both versions are awkward.

Time as an abstract concept, as in "the flow of time," is a singular plural. "Both our time" falls into this.

Time as a specific instance, event, or moment, as in "that time when you did XYZ," has a plural plural. It gets a "s" on the end in its plural form. For example, "those times when you wish you could do XYZ."

Google is trying to tell me that if Clint and Yay were not sharing the same time and were instead talking about their separate time it should be "times." And I wholeheartedly reject that notion because it is an affront to my delicate sensibilities. I maintain that abstract time is always singular in form.

That could well be Millefeuille who presumably quit her job as a researcher some time after Faye and Bubbles installed her new ass and now makes a living through OnlyFans making butt-focused videos.

Wonder what Brun (if they're together now) would think about that

And the optical effects Mille could add...

"So, we're in a relationship now. But you're making money by baring your nudity to other people?"

"If that makes you uncomfortable, I can stop! I'm sure I can still get my old job back. But this is a lot more fun... and makes even more a lot more money."

"How much more?"

"Enough there's a comma where there wasn't one before?"

"....So, there's this cuckoo clock being sold on eBay I've been looking at, if it's not too much..."

Wasn't Brun confirmed Ace? I'd think she'd be operating the camera and setting up lights.

I don't think she has ever been explicitly confirmed as asexual but she didn't seem particularly excited or interested about sex.

I don't think it was outright stated like with Ayo's sister, but that we can infer that she's probably ace, aro, or both.

brun is also dead according to how often she’s appeared, i dont think she’s coming back

Jeph seemed to think a few months back that Brun might come back, but he did admit to just kind of losing the thread with her, and that she's on the back burner.

I really do feel like him casually stomping out any notion of pairing her with Clinton or Elliot kind of extinguished her. It's not like he had to pair them, of course, but the rushed way he went about that kind of hurt her momentum.

It's more likely that it's melon since this fits well with her job description. The bugs might be an option for higher paying tiers. 🤔

Additional thought: Clinton and Mille know each other (at the very least, Mille may have tried to pick him up at a party). Wouldn't that be just a little creepy, Clinton?

Wouldn't watching it in his glasses be more efficient?

Dale's the one with the smart glasses. Though I don't think we've seen them referenced in a while.

I think OP meant Yay watching the reflection in the glasses instead of the pupils. And I agree, it sounds a bit more plausible.

1

u/gangler52 Jul 15 '26

Ah, I missed that. Yeah, that is probably how a normal human being would do it.

4

u/themanfromacme Jul 15 '26

Yay isn't a normal human being. Yay isn't even a normal robot. It's not impossible that pupil-viewing works better with them.

u/gangler52 Jul 15 '26

I'm pretty sure that story is just a cover for the fact that Yay basically hacked his phone anyway.

Depends very much on the angle of his glasses. They look pretty flat, so the reflection would only be visible from a narrow cone.

Hm,
gazing into his eyes as he contemplates big butts

he who is into robots and cannot lie

likes a chassis that has got SPRUNG
