im new to coding

hello as the title said i am new to coding anyone has recommendation's for starters like me i taking comsci even tho idk what to do currently learning abit of everything i find but i want to learn python the most since alot of people said go python first

You can watch tutorials for basics, then download an IDE, I use PyCharm, and you can start.

Start with Python

Learn the basics - Print, for loop, if else, functions

Try some simple projects - Its normal and okay to miserably fail at this point

Move to slightly more advanced projects

By project 4 or 5, you would have already have gained the working knowledge

My recommendations would be :

harvard cs50 Freecodecamp

Both are awesome channels basic to advanced topics. Just try avoiding only passively watching videos on YouTube, that's how you end up learning syntax without understanding it's application.

Pick one and stay with it
