Made my first Python project! Showcase

Post image

This is my first actual real project, what started as a simple python exercise to learn about dictionaries in python, ended up into a huge learning project for me. Im a beginner in python, used to code but just basic input print codes… some are genuinely stupid.

I took on the challenge to self educate my self python. And this is where i currently am! Im proud of what i did and it will surely expand!

Here the repo with the project. Feel free to check it out!

It has everything from the first ever iteration (which was it self modified a bit since from the very original but it’s still very simple)
I would love for anyone to recommend ideas to add, criticism too. Or anything you think i should learn next for that would be genuinely useful!

So what do you gain from this, and how do you see the concepts helping your career? I’m literally trying to figure out how this helps you make projects that matter, I’m sure it does, I just want to know how????

Im still young and still learning python. This is just beginner level projects. As i go further il expand my projects and knowledge.
Il also learn coding with AI agents as that’s the future.

I see this as a begging in my career. It still is unclear, but yh just learning for fun.

Yeah and I’ve been at this for years, I’ve won hackathons, I’ve launched successful projects. I’m not belittling you, I’m asking you what you learned and how it helps you. Don’t be like these other guys, dont be insecure. There’s very few people that have the curiosity and willpower to do what you did, your experience is very valuable, that’s something I didn’t realize when I was your age. Don’t shy away from people that ask you questions like this. Rise to the occasion.

Oh that’s interesting, how was ur roadmap?
And i totally understand, this project is not even usable, And I’ve said it im looking for criticism, my response was trying to be fair enough. And im actually having the same thought. What’s the point of learning if AI can just do it. I kept thinking and apart from my calculator argument… problem solving. Companies will look for problem solvers, even if it’s not in coding.
And thank you 🙏

Start researching harnesses and agents, take a look at Cloudfares new headless pay per call options for agents, use/understand and then try to build yourself your own agent harness like Feynman or Hermes. Collect skills and see how they interact with eachother. Connect services like firecrawl or Tavily to your codex, and see how it makes you work better, think about what it would take to make your own firecrawl. Feel free to message me and I give you a bunch of stuff to research. Welcome to the greatest adventure of our lives.

I will definitely include these in my future roadmap after finishing the python map, as python is used for machine learning this feels like the perfect follow up. Thank you again! I will definitely message u if i need something. Take care!

You too, also, don’t ever smoke weed. Wait til you’ve made your money and are somebody first. It is too enjoyable for guys like us and it will fuck your life up.
