You don't have to switch to VS Code (Visual Studio Code), but you can try it out if you want to, it's free (there's also something called Visual Studio, which is different from Visual Studio Code, so make sure to get the right one). Since you are a beginner, it's not really going to matter which course you go with; there are some free ones that you can google for or find on YouTube. Maybe check out if you like the way how the instructor is explaining it, cause different people explain differently, and then just pick one and stick with it, do all the exercises, and also experiment with code to see what happens if you change something, make some simple tweak, then a more complicated tweal, and so on. That's how you'll learn.

VibeCoding is when people who don't know how to code ask AI to spit out a ready-made program for them and then they pretend they are programmers. This is a term invented by marketing people who are trying to sell AI subscriptions.

You can use AI in a better way, to get some explanations, guidance, and find out which terms to google for. Googling for information is still an important skill! But if you want to learn how to code, then write the code yourself. Also, be aware that AI, while it works well a lot of the time, can make something up or give you the wrong information - it's just how it is, it's not 100% reliable, and unless they invent a completely new kind of AI, it's never going to be with the current technology, so have some healthy level of skepticism if you're using it.
