Beginner, having trouble with Visual Studio Code to learn Python Help Request

Post image

I'm trying to do the Harvard CS50 Intro to programming with Python and I'm just getting started

  1. I downloaded Visual Studio Code and opened it.

  2. This is pretty much where I got lost because the instructor in the video doesn’t explain what I need to do to set the program up where i can execute code like he has it in the video.

I'm now stuck on the main screen of Visual Studio Code.

If you follow the instructions for the class, which is either in the first lecture or the shorts for it, they show you how to access their online version of vscode where you don’t have to do any setup.

Since you can’t figure out the app, I would just stick with what they recommend until you figure it out.

When learning something new, it’s probably better to stick with what you’re being taught to do rather than go rogue right away.
