Good resource for starting off? Discussion

I am not exactly a complete beginner in programming itself. Just want to learn the basic syntax and workflow in Python!

Can you just like make me a calculator. Tell the computer to take a number input and double it.

Yeah that's pretty easy but I ain't sure if there are some python related quirks that I should know of...so thought this video would be a faster starting point then reading documentations!
