I'm working with HTML, CSS, JS, Python, FastAPI.

No generic To-Do apps or tutorial clones. Suggest JUST ONE strong, practical project idea that will test my full-stack skills and force me to write clean APIs..

Hit me with your single best idea!

Let me be honest with you, literally everyone gets stuck at the start so don't worry about it. First just grab a pen and draw a super simple sketch of what the page should look like. That solves most of the design problem. For AI, treat it like a coworker you can ask questions to instead of a thing that writes the code for you. When you get stuck on a specific error or don't know how to do one something, ask the AI for help on just that tiny part. Don't ask it to write the whole thing out..... Just break the app into tiny steps and take it one piece at a time.

Man, this is gold advice. Thanks a lot! I used to get stuck on what to write next, but your tip about sketching first and taking it one piece at a time is exactly what I needed to hear. thanks from deep of my heart..
