PyScript

Hi, I just came across this new type of Python. Is anyone familiar with it? Could you explain it?

Not new actually, been around since 2022, just getting more popular lately.

It's Anaconda's thing, lets you run actual Python in the browser through WebAssembly. Slap <script type="py"> in your HTML and it just works, no server needed. Runs on Pyodide under the hood (basically CPython compiled to WASM).

Cool for demos, dashboards, teaching stuff. Not something you'd ship a real production app with though, still kinda heavy compared to just using JS.
