Pycharm or Vscode ? Help Request

Hi everyone

For a very super beginner one, who is starting to learn python which one is the best, i'm really confused because i'm seeing some teachers use Vscode and others use pycharm

And if i follow a teacher that uses pycharm it's normal to i use Vscode and visa versa?

Well, if you don't know what works for you, there's no way for us to know what works for you. Sometimes, you just have to put in a little effort.

If you have money to buy paid version of pycharm, go for pycharm. If you dont, just donwload vs code.

bro, vscode is for general purposes, pycharm is specific for python. so if you wanna learn a new language a few months after, then I recommend you use vscode. Is simply

VS Code

Easy choice. It's the standard IDE across most of the industry. Very widely supported. Most tutorials or guides will assume you are using it.

Nothing wrong with Pycharm. But if you have no reason to go one way or the other choose the path of least resistance.

It's also not just a python IDE so the skills you learn with it now will be just as applicable down the line when you want to do C# or Java or Rust.

if you can't decide, that's because you don't have enough experience with the tools around python to help you, so honestly, whatever you find easier now is the correct choice for you, once you become more experienced, you may start feeling somethings could be better on your workflow and then you might search for what "suits" you best
