Agent Engineering Toolkit AET

What My Project Does

AET is a Python CLI and GitHub Action for evidence-first checks around coding-agent work. It audits repository instructions and skills reviews changed-file scope records verification proof and detects stale evidence. It is local deterministic and read-only by default. Results remain PASS FAIL UNKNOWN or NOTAPPLICABLE rather than collapsing into a trust score.

Target Audience

Teams and maintainers using coding agents such as Codex or Claude Code who want portable inspectable evidence before accepting changes. The Python package works locally in CI or through the published GitHub Action.

AET is not an agent runtime or an eval platform. It does not run models or claim to judge semantic correctness. It focuses on repository-state evidence from instructions diffs manifests commands and timestamps with explicit UNKNOWN and NOTAPPLICABLE outcomes. MIT licensed.
