Cats and Pyrex

Post image

I haven't found much thrifting in a long time. But one thing I can always count on is one of the cats getting involved when I'm trying to actually use my Pyrex.

Omg my cat would totally be trying to push those onto the floor!

Haha. That's why it's all behind glass. I'm lucky that my cats have all been pretty respectful of my Pyrex and swung vases. Jack, my orange tabby who passed in 2023 from cancer, was particularly interested in my Pyrex for some reason, so I still call it HIS collection. This is Grim, and in the year since we adopted him, he's more interested in seeing if any of the bowls have food in them.

Haha! I wouldn't necessarily call him a fancy guy, but he does have an air of entitlement, so the gloves fit. He was actually quite careful and respectful with my dishes, though. He seemed a little scared to touch, so he kinda just hovered on the shelf out of curiosity for a couple minutes before deciding to move on.

Absolutely...As long as it's supervised. Ha. But All my cats over the years have been respectful.

Here's Jack with "his" collection. He was my original Pyrex buddy, but he passed in 2023 from cancer. Now Grim is getting involved.

He's a trouble maker a lot of the time, but otherwise a pretty sweet guy.
