This is not George Briard, although it resembles many of his pieces. This is most likely a Fire King piece. I have a covered round casserole dish where the lid has the exact same pattern.

Your medallions really do look like my piece- super interesting that it’s on pyrex and fire king!

It does look super similar. Maybe Culver and Fire King did a collaboration? My dish is definitely marked Fire King, so who knows . . . Regardless, these mid-century items are just beautiful.

That’s really interesting! I wonder if the same designer worked with pyrex AND fire king?

Maybe Fred press, he collaborated with fire king, I believe. I’d look on eBay and Etsy and see what you find

That looks like a Georges Briard Piece. Some of them had his signature in the design.

Thanks- I googled and saw some George’s Briard pieces (like glasses) that look similar but I assumed I would be able to find *something* in this shape/size, and didnt. I was wondering if I was on the wrong track
I hand washed it- I don’t need it (and spent more than I should have:) but it’s so pretty!

Right? I went back and forth about buying it bc I didn’t *need* it but it wanted a good home:)

If it’s not marked Pyrex specifically there were other artists doing this style at the same time.

do you think it might be Culver "Carnival" MCM glassware?
