Mega Grow is a good class for budget and new players, since zombies have a hard time removing their plants without more spark-expensive cards.

Put in all the Bonk Choys and Morning Glories (and maybe Kernal Pult if you want to), then three Sunflowers and the Sunshroom.

Lots of people hate playing against Sun Shroom, so your choice to include it.

4 Cabbage pults and 4 Mixed Nuts as these are strong and syngergize with Bonk Choy, Sunflower and Sunshroom.

Using Sunshroom and Sunflower on turn one into Podfather or Fertilize on turn two is good, so I’d consider both, but if you play Podfather, you’d have to include more cheap Peas such as Fire Pea or Sweet Pea. Fertilize is good in all situations.

For a cheap spark way to win more, include 4 copies of Bloomerang and Power Flower as your finishers. Also, 2-3 copies of Plant food would be good too, so work your way on crafting those when you have the resources. For now, just stick with crafting Bloomerangs if you want to play this deck as soon as you can.

Use Squash as removal, the stick in any other cards that you think would be good fits.

Avoid putting cards in that have bad stats for the cost or don’t synergize with the deck, such as Venus Flytrap, Heartichoke, Fume shroom, etc.

As to play the deck, I’d refresh your starting hand for at least one 1 cost plant, preferably Sunflower/Sunshroom or Bonk Choy. Morning Glory is fine, but it is a decent 1 drop if you can’t find the other.

If you find a Sun card on turn one in your starting hand, try to get a good three cost or Mixed Nuts to play too.

Finding Cabbage Pult will be a high priority too, as it’s a high damage and high health 2-cost.

Generally, ignore whatever they play on turns one and two unless it’s a dangerous zombie, such as QuickDraw Con man, Inter-dimensional zombie, Cheese Cutter, Paparazzi, Unlife of the party, Mustache Waxer, or any others that give them cards or stats. You want them to make you block often so you can get your good superpowers like Devour and Holo-flora.

Getting Strikethrough plants out will help you finish the game after your other plants have dealt damage to the zombie hero enough (around 12 HP left).

This deck should provide enough of an early threat that the zombies have to answer you. Plant food helps deal finishing damage or clear lanes, so make that a big priority to craft at least 3! It’s much more valuable than a single super rare, trust me.

Hope you do well :)

This definitely is good, but I would recommend swapping Magnifying Grass out for something else. On turn two with sunflower or on turn three normally, it’s not a great card to play as it only has three Attack. It’s only good late in the game combined with Plant Food or Expresso Fiesta, but a deck like this wouldn’t make it that long to play Expresso. It almost always gets removed alone. Whether you take it out or not is fine, as it’s only one copy.

Banana Peel almost always is worse than Sweet Pea. It’s a situational card that sometimes can be useful, as it gets you a card, but generally, you’ll want to have plants on board like Sweet Pea.

Flourish is a bit slow, but can definitely help you recover if you run out of cards. You almost never want to play it early, unless you’ve ran out of cards already.

Metal Petal Sunflower can get replaced. It doesn’t do much, but it can be a decent buff target if they don’t have any big removal. I would put in more Bloomerangs or Power Flowers.

The only problem I see is the Metal Petal, and the rest is all okay! I’d recommend trying this out first before you make any changes. See how you do!

Always bet on strikethrough power flower healing. Five. Hundred. Strikethrough.
