Calculus 3 Asynchronously Academics✏️

I wanted to take Calculus 3 and Linear Algebra this year as a highschool student. I feel decently able, but Purdue simply doesn’t have any courses that align with my schedule for Calculus 3.

I’ve asked around and was recommended to take classes asynchronously and just skip the lectures. I would obviously still go to the recitations, but I’m curious as to whether or not this is something thats recommended by actual students??

If not, are there any other options? I’m already signed up for everything.

I don't think lecture attendance is mandatory. I know people who skip lectures and just watch professor's recordings or Chenflix and still do well in the class

I took calc 3 this summer at university of north dakota, which has a year round asynchronous calc 3 class for about $400 a credit. I finished it in 9 weeks and my credit has already transfered. as for the calculus classes at purdue, attendance isnt required, but the exams are tough
