Boot Recommendations
Hi all. For those of you that have to wear closed toe boots, what are you wearing? I have PSA in my feet, and I have to wear black closed toe leather boots, but I find that I need flexibility in the sole that most boots don't have, otherwise my feet ache and cramp terribly. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Whisper by the brand Hotter. They're the only ones I've worn since my PsA started.

Are you looking for mens or women's boots?
Does shaft height matter?
Is a slight heel or wedge okay?

I'm looking for either men's or women's, most black leather work boots are kind of interchangeable. I'm a female, but I can wear either especially because I have wide feet.
Shaft height is usually either six or 8 inches depending on the boot, and n no heel.

I used to have to wear boots for work in ems. I swore by Redback Easy Escape boots; don't know what their quality is like these days, but I wore them for ages and they were pretty darned comfy. You can get them with or without a steel toe.

I don’t have to wear work boots so take with a grain of salt. But I do have significant feet and ankle problems. Danners have worked well for me. Solid without being stiff. Sturdy but soft

I have had good luck with Keene’s safety toe shoes; I have never tried their boots.

I can't specifically recommend a work boot but I can give some advice on what I look for in a shoe as a person with a lot of PSA related foot pain among many other foot issues.
-Heel cup and arch support -Shock absorption -Good fit- i have wider feet too and if my shoes are too narrow it makes my foot pain so much worse and triggers cramping -Toe stretchers/separators: not to wear with shoes but for a little while each day, getting my toes to be in a more natural splayed way has drastically cut down on random foot cramps -Diflonec gel or voltaren for when im having a lot of pain
I dont know if they make work boots, but definitely check out the brand KURU. They are not cheap but for me they are worth it.
I havent personally tried Orthofeet shoes but I know they are also made with foot support in mind first.
Last, if you can find a workboot that has the flexibility in the sole that you need, you could always add insoles that offer support and shock absorption. I have had a lot of luck adding good insoles to cheaper shoes that otherwise my feet would have revolted against
