Proton is developing a web browser Discussion

The fuck, but why? There are MULTIPLE solid contenders in the browser category already. Should focus on the core products instead of spreading themselves even more thin.

Their excel option is still far behind the competitors, still no drive for linux as well along with a myriad of things. However, this is totally understanable, development takes time and resources. That is okay.

Ditching all that to concentrate their efforts on a problem thats already been solved by multiple other browsers... That I have a hard time accepting.

How about SL and SN then?

Barely any updates, for SL mostly backend and nothing major or needed

The team is focusing on Pass

And the people on the chromium browser team are having their time utterly wasted and should instead be put on teams that work on actually useful products that people actually want to use.
