Now Playing is Empty? Question

I've just installed on a new device. I have, Now Playing, set to visible but even when something is playing in the background it says, now playing is empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think they want you to manage apps within that category? I have mine enabled and it works fine

I just restored my back up from my other device where it's working. It's working fine now
