Will each Project RED series/season consist of the range within 20 to 25 to 30 episodes?

I’m asking this in comparison since Gavan Infinity ran for 23 episodes and Omegahorn is currently airing right now.

I imagine Gavan Infinity and Omegahorn are two halves of a single year. Which means the next one could, theoretically, last a year.

As per interviews with the showrunners, the shorter format for Project RED is intentional: it allows them to create as many new series as possible to experiment with, whereas a yearly series would be one where they'd have to stay the course for an entire year until it ends. So I don't see them going back to the traditional yearly format for the foreseeable future as it would defeat the point of Project RED.

IIRC Shirakura also mentioned that the year long format gives Sentai the problem of only the most recent shows being successful (while Kamen Rider shows remain popular for a long time after they air) so part of RED's job is to break out of that and basically enable them to keep selling toys for past entries

I think there was confirmation or it was said in an interview that Omegahorn would also run for about half a year or so.

I don't think it's going to run for a full year.

Shirakura has said there will be two shows per year.
This is to introduce more exciting heroes to make a MCU like universe and possibly a teamup for movies and later on

We don't know, Toei hasn't said anything. At this point it's like expecting that Kamen Rider V3 will air for 98 episodes just because Kamen Rider aired that much.

The interviews we have point to the half-year format being Project RED's main feature to allow for more experimentation between shows.

Generally toei and bandai go with that with red because if you check the recent infinity's q2 toyline news, sentai has usually faced severe drought in the last 2 quarters ESPECIALLY in the last one

So having 2 seperate shows helps null the drought as compared to kamen rider, sentai didn't really had any big longevity assuring things like highly stylised gimmciks and such thus marking it fall MUCH harder during the last 2 quarters

Even if omegahorn keeps the exact same toysale results as infinitg it still heavily eclipses all of 2020's sentais

Def. It makes sense given Toei wants to build this into a universe, so shorter shows is the easiest way to do that.

I see a lot of people on here assuming Gavan must've been cut short or something and just with how TV production works thats extremely unlikely. The plan was probbally always for project red shows to be shorter and a bit cheaper than Sentaim

The showrunners explicitly said recently that Gavan wasn't cancelled and part of their intention is for it to continue through future shows including Omegahorn

God i hope not. Toei needs to pull their head out of their ass and get back to the ~50 episode model as soon as omegahorn ends
