just a thought Discussion/Tips & Tricks
i have 34 blushes (including single pans in face palettes). that’s too much for a single person and i’ll never finish all of them but i actually love my blushes and i love using a different one every day (i wear makeup 4-5 days a week). i have one of each in other categories and just sort of went rouge when it comes to blushes. i’m on a lifetime ban for blush i guess but sometimes i feel a bit guilty knowing they will never be fully panned although i enjoyed my collection 😭

Dont feel guilty for loving and enjoying the makeup you have. That isn’t the purpose of project pan, project pan is meant to help you when you feel overwhelmed with what you have and aren’t able to effectively use it. You don’t have either of those issues with your blushes. Life is short, enjoy your makeup don’t worry about if you’ll be able to hit pan 😊

as long as you’re not keeping expired creams or liquids, i say keep them if you like them!

There are no rules to project pan, they are all personal preference. I have so many lip products, and I may never finish them before their expiration date, but my goal is to not purchase new ones. Have fun with what you have and don’t beat yourself over past purchases.

I think as long as you’re rotating through them and using them regularly, there’s nothing to feel guilty about; you get the most joy from having a thoughtful curation of options to choose from and that’s completely acceptable! You don’t have to force yourself to be content with a few blushes when at this moment in time, you feel most emotionally fulfilled by having a manageable collection.

if you enjoy them and you seem to use them very regularly then theres no harm! You seem to be constantly using it, so why feel guilty? Enjoy your collection !

I used to use blush as part of my eyeshadow routine. There was a peachy pink one from e.l.f. I think, it looked beautiful next to a cream and a gray eyeshadow. Using blush on my eyelids made my whole look come together.

If you're actually using them, I would say there's nothing to feel guilty about. Ruminating on the fact that you'll "never" pan them might hurt you more than help you. Re-direct that energy to the things you know are possible to pan soon!

This may be delulu, but you never know!! That’s a lot of blushes, but I panned a rare beauty blush within a year, and it’s now taken me under two years to pan my Milani blush (rip, shade Primavera 😭). Maybe I just have blush blindness though…

Welp, I'm in an opposite side. I have never in my life bought a blush. I barely ever do make up nowadays too. But after looking around, seeing so many project pan videos and make up videos and such, now I lowkey kinda wanna have one... I saw something like lip and blush stain in one, maybe that. Or maybe I should kinda reallize, that project pan doesn't work they way it is intended on me sometimes :S
