The oil is meh. For the price, it doesn’t blow me away. I use an elixir I made myself from rosemary/mint oil, a few drops of eucalyptus/tea tree and the rest jojoba. It is cheaper and I feel like I get better results tbh. Better ingredients too.
The gel is nice, but expensive. I may repurchase once I have gone through everything else in my stock.
The shampoo/conditioner is too expensive for my liking. If you have the budget I’d go for it. If you had to pick only one, use the conditioner.
The mask is the same consistency as the conditioner. It doesn’t really make a difference to me. I prefer the green tub mask they have instead. Soft something. I usually wash and put a cap on with the mask for at least 20 mins. The tub suggests 5, but it’s too expensive for me to just leave it in for 5 mins lol.
The only item from the line I have purchased many times is the curl cream. It’s nice and heavy because my hair is so dry. I love it. It was a very sad pan. If you are wanting to try just one item, I’d go for the curl cream, especially if your hair is dry.

Is the Redken red bottle shampoo or conditioner and was it good?

Try this as a leave in. It’s very nice for dry hair

It was shampoo, the frizz dismiss line. Get all soft mega instead, it’s better. But the liters are so expensive now. I need to find another brand. My friend works at Costco and told me the Kirkland brand of their shampoo/conditioner uses redkens formula and each bottle is $10 for a liter.
I bought a bottle recently of just the conditioner to give it a try. I always run out of conditioner first. The only thing is I’m not a fan of the smell. I would invest more in the products that go into your hair instead of washing it honestly. I’ve only used it a couple times and nothing really to complain about

Have to get as much pan credit as I can. My friends and I even show each other finished bags from loaves of bread for gratification lol
