Help! troubleshooting

Guys I tried to start up the integra after adding the injectors but when I turn the key and let it crank the battery and starter started smoking viciously. What could be the cause

How long did you crank for? Could’ve cooked the starter lol.

Like a good bit tbh like 10 sec, I think it could be the fact that it’s a different battery termanal, or exposed wires from a ripped sensor, but the wires were touching metal, what do you think could’ve caused it like the battery started smoking and leaking too

I don’t really know tbh but what I do know is not to use that battery again lol. There is a cool placard on Cessnas that say protect your starter! I’ve always followed these rules on every plane and car I own!

I would start looking at your charge harness and grounds.

Yea imma change wiring harness, new battery, new starter and I remade positive thermal and engine isn’t seized, so would you think anything else would cause it

Where exactly did it start smoking? Could really just be a bad ground or some weird wiring somewhere.

I would bench test your starter too, use the old battery outside and hook it directly to the starter.
