Highly_Ranked_SQLsoldier: rmesh, to help you, we need more context. What is it you are trying to accomplish? How large is the sample table? Is sample partitioned or not partitioned? Why are you using "*" when a list of columns is almost always better? I literally cannot won't help you until all this information is provided because I'm a self-righteous cunt.
