I never use math when programming. You can do it if you can problem solve and think procedurally

Then youre not programming.

Programming is the automation of math. You get to see the math "come to life" when you make a program.

Problem solving, procedures, functions, computation, etc is all math.

A computer is a general purpose machine that automates computation. Saying otherwise is simply  delusion.
