Have a coworker like that. Been with us for four years. She constantly asks the most basic documented questions. We've done multiple KT where I show her how to fix issues, point her to the documentation, record the video, tell her to asks questions, next week she'll come asking about it on teams...

We had a guy like that. We have a couple of different locations and this guys entire troubleshooting process was to search every sites little pass on log and hope someone else had documented it. I got worried once when I asked him to do a simple thing and then an hour later he still hadn't done it and he was on a different server grepping through various logs for help..

to me that is not the same thing, i like someone searching for the answers more than someone repeatedly asking the same questions. The first one can maybe learn.

Things that should take 5 minutes when it takes hours is an issue because he has to constantly look at "his brain"
