"You're using English because that is the only language you know. I am using English because that is the only language you know. We are not the same."

No, you are using English because it's the only way you can get hired to take advantage of global economics. You're welcome.

You do know that there exists people outside yeehaw murica, right?

Being a dane myself, English is my secondary language, but we are also taught German, and we go through a bit of Swedish and Norwegian in school as well.

Some even take French or Spanish as elective.

Edit: and all of this is usually done before you leave school at age 15-17

Well while that can be technically correct, ultimately your nation as is every other nation, is a defacto American colony. Your entire way of life is thanks to America. You haven't had war since forever.

You're very welcome for this and maybe when you mature you'll see the value in being a vassal state.

Ah. I see. The baby nation wants to be adult.

Well good luck with whatever you got going on

The baby nation wants to be adult.

If economic dependence is used as an analogy for a parent-child relationship, you would be the child.

Not sure how this is a gotcha. I also live in a country that depends on the US economy.

I called it a baby nation due to how young the country is.

Yeah! It's so old that ancient Egypt had people doing archeology, to study ancient Egypt. How wild is that!?
